UK ‘The X Factor’ judge Tulisa Contostavlos appears to have secured premium producer The-Dream for her upcoming album due later this year.
The 24-year-old singer clearly is hoping to make a much larger splash stateside than her former judging-mate Cheryl Cole was unsuccessfully able to do.

Contostavlos was pictured with the man behind Rihanna‘s (‘Umbrella’) and Beyonce‘s (‘Single Ladies’) biggest hits this weekend prompting speculation of the pair working together. The diva-in-training was seen cruising in the 34 year-old songwriter’s red Ferrari before they joined several friends for drinks on Ocean Drive in South Beach.
Working with The-Dream can be quite the mixed bag has his results really depend on the artist he’s working with. For example it’s a rarity that he and Beyonce miss the mark when it comes to crafting a hit song, however, his work with R&B vet Mariah Carey on 2009’s ‘Memoirs of an Imperfect Angel’ fell completely flat.
As far as his collaborations with Tulisa goes only time will tell…
