As earlier reported, last night was a major one for Kelly Rowland.

The Destiny’s Child alum was not only honoured by Essence, she was also awarded a Platinum plaque for the million-plus sales of ‘Motivation’.

Peep Ms. Kelly receive the award from the song’s producer Rico Love, as well as her performance of the track and ‘When Love Takes Over’ below….

“Brand Rowland” is at the strongest it’s been yet! And while there still plenty scope to grow, the future is looking great. Here’s hoping many a Platinum plaque awaits.
