Rapper/Media Personality Nick Cannon revealed today, via his morning radio show, that two blood clots found in his lung and an enlarged ventricle on the right side of his heart forced his hospitalization last Friday. The report surfaces one month after Cannon’s episode with ‘mild kidney failure’ (photo above).
Sharing his thoughts with listeners this morning, see what Mr. Cannon had to say after the jump:

“It was quite serious. I was trying to downplay it a lot, even in my own mind. I travel a lot. Anyone who flies a lot can be a victim to getting blood clots because it can start in your legs or your lower back. That, on top of my previous condition made me more prone to [getting blood clots].”
“My doctor was saying that my work is going to kill me – and he’s not joking,” he said. “I think part of the reason why my health did kind of deteriorate was because I wasn’t resting a lot and I was doing too much. I was overworking myself, working out too much. But I’m learning that it isn’t the wisest thing all the time, especially being a new father. Not only wanting to spend more time with my children, but wanting to be there for my children.”
The hospitalization came one day before pop superstar wife Mariah Carey learned of the untimely passing of her pop superstar friend, ‘When You Believe’ co-star Whitney Houston. As ever, we’re wishing the Cannon family a healthy recovery!

Again? This doesn´t look good and he´s so young. Hope it all goes well from now on. With this and Whitney´s death, no wonder Mariah was looking so sad the other day when she went to the doctor and cancelled an appearance in Good Morning America this week
