Watch: Fantasia Begins Work On New Album

Published: Tuesday 20th Mar 2012 by Sam

Soul-filled songstress Fantasia has seen many a peak and trough. However, hoping to put the drama behind her after giving birth, the 26 year old has returned to the booth to begin recording her 4th studio album.

Find out who she’s working with after the jump…

In this newly released clip, the American Idol alum can be seen laying down vocals for a track penned by songwriter and Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kandi Burruss:

Needless to say, it’s great to see Fanny return to the day job. Regardless of what drama surrounds her, one can’t take away the gift which resides in her. The song sounds hot too.

Kudos to Kandi also for recharging her creative juices to do what she does best. For while it’s impressive that she crafted hits such as TLC’s ‘No Scrubs’, it’s been entirely too long since she scored a placement with a major act.

Here’s hoping both of the ladies fortunes continue to better.
