Was Nicki Minaj Right To Delete Her Twitter Page?

The ‘Barbz’ were in mourning last night when their Queen- Pop gem Nicki Minaj– deleted her Twitter account.

In response to a provocative ‘Retweet’ campaign launched by fan site ‘Nicki Daily‘ (who she blocked for posting leaked snippets of her new album three weeks ago, Minaj shocked fans by pulling her official page after tweeting ‘It’s only so much a person can take‘.

The story began back in March when the independently run NickiDaily uploaded unauthorized snippets of ‘Pink Friday:Roman Reloaded’.

Peeved by this action, Minaj blocked and ‘unfollowed them’ but did not comment on her reasons doing so.

However, in an attempt to force her into following back, members of the site began re-tweeting messages from rival fan bases slamming what they called Nicki’s ‘bad attitude’.

In response, Minaj re-tweeted another fan who explained ‘Nicki Daily knows why Nicki blocked them‘, to which she added  ‘Posting leaked music‘.

She deleted her official page shortly after, soon followed by all of Nicki Daily‘s writers, one of which slammed the Rapper’s attitude and mocked her underwhelming  first week sales with:

11 million followers but your album sales are down“.
