In a bid to showcase her talent on both sides of the Atlantic, Rita Ora appeared on Channel 4’s ‘T4 Loft’ for a set of her debut (UK) release, ‘R.I.P.’

On a technical tip, she aced it- flaunting the stamina she’ll need to deliver full length stage shows when she kicks off her own tour. Then vocally, she showcases a talent so many are quick to downplay- effortlessly rocking every note without slipping once.
UK fans can catch Ora at the 2012 V Festival, which will take place on August 18th and 19th, three months after she joins Coldplay on their 2012 Tour.
So, taking the above performance into consideration, would you pay to see Rita live?

really good performance….. I’ve started to look at her as Rita and not as Rihanna’s “replacement” and now I can appreciate her more.
Im not a big fan of Rihanna, but ppl were saying that she was rihanna’s competition , and I just didn’t see it. But taking Rihanna out the equation makes me appreciate Rita a little more.

Rihanna navy are scared to death. Always on her posts; everywhere from the blogs to youtube, hating. If she was so boring, and had no good soons, why are they so scared?? Rita is a reasonable singer, not a great one by any stretch of the imagination. RIP is only okay, its not crap but its not wonderful either. This performance is okay, just like Rihanna’s performance of Redemption Song at the Time 100 gala (listen to it, she was pretty good). I do not know why TGJ are enthusing over this fairly basic acoustic performance, oh wait, it couldn’t be because they are touting this girl to replace Rihanna? Please, have several seats, she has a very LONG way to go before getting even close to Rihanna ;o)
