New Video: The Saturdays – ’30 Days’

Published: Thursday 5th Apr 2012 by Sam

British belle’s The Saturdays today unwrapped the video for their latest single ’30 Days’.

And while it remains unknown if the song is for a new LP or collection of sorts, one thing is certain: the video waits after the jump!

Cute.

But, at almost 4 years in, is that what we should be saying of the ladies at this point.

Given the hub of talent the group houses (see: Vanessa, Una, and Rochelle), we’d much prefer to be screaming “fierce” and “epic”, rather than giving a slow pity clap.

The song, while inoffensive, sounds like ‘All Fired Up-Lite’, while beyond the “gloss”, its accompanying video offers nothing we’ve not seen countless times already.

How they’ve managed to sustain to this point with so little “growth” is relatively astounding. That said, they seem to have more lives than Mario. We just hope they use one of them to actually serve up something worth hollering about.

Love the sats, but TGJ are right, they need to be feirce and bring out the international divas they can be.

But having said that, the pre-orders for this song are going crazy! It is to be released in May and is already in the Top 20 iTunes album chart!

Hope they get their number 1 and do great!

    utter utter cr*p.

y bother filming a video like this? They would do better having a concert video….or nothing. This just cheapens them. Who in their team genuinely believes this is going to be successful? Its like they do it just ‘because’…

    Waste of money.

They seriously need a new team of people behind them. They have what it takes to really make some noise, with 3 very strong singers (Vanessa, Una, and Rochelle), and they are all nice to look at. They need to hook with with some people in the U.S. I think that would be the best move for them. They should really evolve their sound. They can’t grow if they are ALWAYS playing it too safe with these girls.
