For most, the weekend lasts two days. For The Saturdays, though, it’s two years.

The Pop quad have stretched the campaign for their latest album ‘Living For The Weekend’ all the way out, serving up first single ‘What About Us’ in 2012 and the video for new release ‘Not Giving Up’ today.

A dynamo dance-floor jam, the track serves as the fifth cut to be lifted from ‘Living’ and the first since band-member Frankie Sandford gave birth.

With most artists being lucky to release two singles from an album these days, one has to give The Sats’ kudos for pushing on. Was the visual worth it, though? The answer awaits below…

Slick.

Once again, in true Saturdays fashion, there’s next to nothing actually happening here. However, as any a seasoned follower of the group with agree, they’re best when playing it simple. It’s a shame, though, as this kind of gloss paired with a group who could all hit choreography (at the same time) would be killer. Still, solid effort.

On a completely random note, could we please have a moment of silence for the bad chickery showcased by Rochelle:

She seduces the camera like a seasoned diva. Werk!

just like their career, they should be ‘giving up’

def leaves something to be desired. but that whole album kinda did for me. I feel like it should have been more ‘spice up your life’ than whatever they were trying to do here.

WERK. They needed to release this album b/c ppl were starting to forget. The album is great the girls look amazing! Vanessa lost some healthy weight! Mollie’s vocals have greatly improved. Rochelle and Una always serving it!

I really do like these girls. I think they have a great look as a group and wonderful voices. My issue is the same that it has been since I first got into them… that underwhelming quality. Granted, they should be wanting to push themselves to higher level, but their “team” seems half a$$ and there is no reason after all of these years together they shouldn’t be able to kill some choreography. They make dance music, for Christ Sake!!! Come ladies! We need more from you! Still love them though.

The thing is they are not standing out the crowd their music is generic crap and they never push themselves forward, plus theres quite abit of compition on the girl band front i.e Little mix and Neon Jungle both of whom are billion times more talented than the girls
