As one the few “diva originales” left in the industry, we love Mimi at her most vocal. After all, she’s earned the right to be. However, one has to wonder if her negative stance on the show stems from actually being in the running to serve a judge during its first season – something her pregnancy pumped the brakes on. I mean, back then, she was more than content to let the rumour-mill crank into overdrive and her name be showered with more attention than her last two projects combined. And yet now it’s beneath her?
In any case, forget a tour; we’re amped to see what she’s been cooking up in the studio! Bring on that album!

it was better mariah handled it the way she did and avoid going for the way she really, no doubt, feels about “sweet” but totally talentless britney.

First of all Sam Mimi’s name was tossed around more for Simon’s opposed to hers. Nick said countless times on his radio show that she and Simon discussed the idea but Mariah was not doing the judging job because it wasn’t her thing. As for the dig at her last two projects please with the corny sarcasm its unnecessary cause ur fave K Rowland still couldn’t sale the penthouse with one hit. At least after 2 decades+ Mimi can still sale a house let’s see Kelly’s status after 2 decades+ other then being Bee’s shadow.
Mariah had no desire to be on the X Factor. If she did, she would have said F it, and signed the contract.
Musical reality shows are waaaay beneath Mariah.
Those type of shows are for hasbeens, or people trying to revive their career. This is why I’m disappointed in Britney. A listers don’t involve themselves in reality shows.

Okay so listen up. As a real Mariah fan and as someone who knows her personally. Mariah is PISSED a X Factor and/or Simon Cowell. She was in the running for X Factor but during discussions Mariah was dismissed and Britney was put into the forefront.
