‘U Don’t Have To Call’ crooner Usher has called upon R&B superproducer Pharrell for yet another thumping collaboration. The song ‘Twisted’, listed on his June 12th due ‘Looking 4 Myself’, is an ode to a time before both performer’s dominated charts. Stepping away from the Urban pop sounds of the song ‘Scream’ that precedes it, Ush looked to wet fans’ appetites with the many sounds they can expect on the summer set.
Lending a snippet of the uptempo number moments ago via MTV on his very own ‘MTV First’ special, get into the ‘nostalgic’ sounds below:

Interestin. Might be feelin it.
It’s different. Need to hear the whole song though.
They probly are a little twisted with each other
I think its gonna be a hot song and sounds like it should be a single!!!!!!!!!
Dude this song is smooth! Gives me a Neptunes + Confessions feel!
Eh… it’s too hard to tell with a snippet. It’s not enough to give us a good feel of the song. It sounds interesting though and I usually love anything Pharrel is on. It seems like there are gonna be an erray sounds on this album which I like.
I’m actually really feeling that Rick Ross ‘Touch’n You’ joint that he’s in right now. His vocals are soo smooth on that. Better than their ‘Lemme See’ collaboration.
Very Motown-ish, that is what I want from Usher!!! Not that Euro-David Gutta Pop trash music!!! Still not feeling Climax and Scream, not a good choice of songs in this upcoming album. Usher needs to bring back R&B and stop catering to this generation of kids who don’t know anything else besides Crapanna and Garbage Minaj!!! Yuck!!! Usher bring back real music that you did before, leave that trash to Crapanna, CB, Nicki, and Drake!!!
This sounds like a James Brown type of song and I know Usher can pull it off. He has style and he is versatile. He is one of the only artist that I know that is deeply connected in the rythem nation era. That’s 70’s music for 2012 and should attract an older audience that are familiar with that sound from what they grew up with. Keep sharing your history Usher,it shows that you respect and still admire where you came from.
100% agree
I think Usher is getting his groove back. This sounds like something I’ll love.
Sorry people this song sound dated.
I don’t think this album is shaping up to be very cohesive. It’ll be one of those albums that I pick a few tracks up off iTunes, but it’s too much going on get the whole album. 4 songs now and 4 COMPLETELY different sounds. That doesn’t always work in the artist’s favor.
Pharrell makes me horny…
