‘On the Floor’ hitmaker Jennifer Lopez reminded all of how she gets down on the floor when she took tonight’s viewers of American Idol to task with her latest ‘Dance Again’. ‘Again’, the first song lifted from Lopez’s forthcoming greatest hits collection, may not be performing as well on charts as some of the hits that will accompany it on the disc.
That, however, didn’t stop the mom-of-two from bringing the house down at tonight’s Idol showing.

I saw her perform this live at the taping…it had so much more energy in person. Guess it didn’t translate on TV. But she is so gorgeous. I love her.

The song has ONLY been released for like 3-4 weeks, and is in its like 3rd chart week. And it is climbing the Hot 100! Currently at a new peak of 20 this week, rising from its new peak (last week) of 25….
So in no way is this new song not performign well on the charts, hell its already ANOTHER Top 20 hit for her AND Pitbull!
Just think if she performs it or promotes it on other shows, to also help promote her tour….
“On The Floor” is better, but “Dance Again” could easily achieve the same success “OTF” did last year….. NOT TO MENTION, let me remind you, “OTF” didn’t peak at #3 in the beginning. It was released in February, and peaked in like June! And really became a “big hit” over summer. So damn TGJ, give singles a chance before saying things like “not performing as her prior hits.”

If youre looking for an out of this world performance, then you need to visit a cemetery and resurrect Michael Jackson or Whitney Houston. Cuz those were the only performers on the face of this earth (along with the living Beyonce) who could give you an out of this world performance.. so just give credit where credit is due.

i felt like I was watching a katyperry performance. Jlo dance moves were so basic and they autotune the s*** out of her voice. Her energy was very low compared to dance on the floor last american idol. But at least she didn’t lip sync. In all a good performance but all these tecno dance performances starts to feel the same. The staging seems to be very repetitive, the colors the lights all the same. Nothing special and wow about the performance. Nothing out of the box. Jlo didn’t slay nobody in that performance. If rihanna tried that choreo she would do great too with mucho back up dancers.
BTW a mother of two, married and divorce 3 times, age 42 but no one complains about what she wears on stage but….. oh the double standards. I will repeat that on another post maybe later this year.

Jlo was hot! Give credit where it’s due, this mamie is bad. Don’t knock Jlo, she was very successful in the last decade. She had three multi-platinum albums and is one of the few artists that’s still relevant in her 40’s.

Technically, this is one of her best performances, but the song is so mediocre that I can’t enjoy the performance either. She has lots of stage presence, that’s for sure. I just wish her songwriters and producers were just as top notch.

You guys are really easy to impress. I like the visuals and she had a fair amount of energy, BUT THIS B**** IS NOT A DANCER! She can move her body very well, but her dance moves are so simple and not hardcore. Beyonce dances her ass off onstage and ACTUALLY CAN SING LIVE while dancing at the same time. When JNO tries to do actually DANCE, she looks awkward! All she does is jump up and down, shake, and touch herself or other people. Plus, she can’t sing for s***! With Chris Brown… he actually does CHOREOGRAPHY and his s*** is amazing. This right here, is nothing! Plus, I am so damn tired of her f****** using IDOL to promote herself. What a selfish b****??? She’s using this to just keep her name in the spotlight and she’s too damn old to be dating a young 24 year old!
