Usher Performs ‘Scream’ For XBOX 360

Published: Monday 4th Jun 2012 by Sam

Urban Pop force Usher is gearing up to unleash his new LP ‘Looking 4 Myself’ on the masses next week (June 12th). Hence, in continuing his no stone unturned promo approach, the 33 year old performed latest single ‘Scream’ at the XBOX 360 E3 presentation in Los Angeles today.

By no means a “basic” performance, the singer’s showcase tied-in his involvement with ‘Dance Central 3’ –  an interactive choreography based game which comes to the console later this year.

How did Mr Raymond fare? Find out after the jump…

While winded in parts, Usher once again delivered. Solid performance.

Truth be told, with ‘Looking’ the crooner seems to have found himself. Or at the very least found himself a collection of songs and direction which we feel will appease his longtime and more recent fans. Click here to read our EXCLUSIVE album preview.

I still love how Usher gets praised for doing trendy dance pop but Rihanna gets drug thru the ringer

Good performance, but I’m mad he couldn’t hit that note (which is the best part of the song). I still admire him tho and can’t wait for the LP

    • Cranberry June 4, 2012

He’s thirty f****** years old. You and your ageism is what is wrong with the industry.

      • theman June 5, 2012

Usher is young, you sound very stupid…. Ignorance……….

    • Stephen June 5, 2012

You’re apparent a teenager, becuz it’s only teenagers that see 30, 40 or even 50 as “very old”

Usher is good, but this mew album is a mess. Its all over the place. I hate HATE all this dance, white, Euro-trance music he’s making!! It just sucks, he forgot about the regular R&B crowd totally. We don’t care about your wild trips and druggie fests, we like the old Usher music and the old Usher look. Usher is so good as a singer but he’s losing with this high energy techno sounding music. We like the panty-dropper Ursher!!!!!!!!!!! Hate this new-age, gumby cut guy! I digress……

this performance was ALL about dancing Not singing ! so that was the first priority ! and it is hard to SING LIVE while doing those dance moves. of course if he was lip-syncing it would have been Great as some of you wanted. you are so used to Lip-syncing performers that it won’t make you give credit to performers who still SING LIVE.

    • JohnVidal(RIP Whitney-truegreat) June 5, 2012

I think he sang better in here than in the other performances of this song to date. In fact I think it was a great performance. He still does a hell of a job dancing and is probably the only dancer of this type with good vocals. Plus those previews of the album sound really good. Better than the last one (it had good tracks too)
