Watch: Usher Makes Summertime Ball ‘Scream’ & ‘Climax’

Published: Sunday 10th Jun 2012 by Sam

A whopping 80,000 fans crammed into London’s Wembley Stadium last night for Capital FM’s Summertime Ball.

Boasting a stellar line-up consisting of Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, and Rita Ora, the extravaganza also saw R&B-Pop megastar Usher rock the house with a action-packed set.

And while old cuts had the audience on their feet, material from his new LP ‘Looking 4 Myself’ (due June 12th) thrilled Wembley in equal measure. Watch the 33 year old perform ‘Scream’ and ‘Climax’ below (and look out for our brief chat with Mr Raymond backstage shortly!)

Yes, yes, and indeed yes! Usher continues to show why, despite a few career hiccups, he is back at the top of his game. So few males in the Urban-Pop diaspora are serving up a “premium product”, hence the fact has, is, and looks set to continue doing so should be celebrated.

Tidbit: Did anyone else “stan” for Mr Raymond finally hitting all of the note at the end of ‘Scream’? Epic.

Great Usher! I see the Stage Slayer Usher is slowing coming bac, after that marriage to Tameka took it from him! It seems he’s working more on vocals but still showcasing dancing. It always should b vocals first, then dancing. Unless ur a bac up dancer. Yeap, the King of Stage is slowing coming bac!

Usher is way sexier, more classy and has better voice and music than his competitors. Just that. The snippets from the album sound really good. I love evolution in artists, and this Usher is not the same of 10 ten years ago, I like that. I think some proffesional ass poppers should learn

Usher is incredible! Though I undoubtedly appreciate his live vocals during his high energy performances, I feel like they’d be more memorable if he pre-recorded his vocals. These other fake artists not singing live dont bring the unforgetable choreo/stage performace usher does- someone like usher can get away with something like that b.c of his talent. we all know he can sing, i just hate to hear him struggle through . He’s amazing. Do your thing Usher!

His vocals was not quite there, hard song for him to carry over those notes, some of it was recordings sing overs.
