Jennifer Hudson Set For Spot On ‘Oprah’s Next Chapter’

Published: Wednesday 22nd Aug 2012 by Rashad

While Oprah‘s OWN network hasn’t exactly seen the best of ratings in its short history, the Talk Queen has found the jackpot in pop singers.

With ‘Poker Face’ performer Lady Gaga and alleged “singer” Rihanna giving the channel its highest ratings yet, Winfrey looks to continue that winning streak with ‘Spotlight’ songstress Jennifer Hudson.

Set to air Sunday, September 9 at 9 p.m. ET/PT, the sit-down session is sure to cover a number of topics, including Hudson’s tragic family loss, upcoming nuptials, and relationship to legendary singer Whitney Houston.

Good for her. I liked her as an actress in Dreamgirls but she hasn’t really done anything noteworthy since then. And besides the whole weight loss thing, I really can’t imagine what else she would have to talk about. But good for her for getting some promotion.

Jennifer, rihanna and all of the other so called under dogs know what time it is. It seems like all of the artist who are black artist are always compared to just one black artist
and that’s beyonce you air heads measures each of the artist by what and how beyonce has done things. You never see any of you comparing any of the artists to many of the black females who has come before them. You never see Tina’s name unless some one and that some one is me who have said it more then a few times that beyonce has studied and payed lose attention to every step Tina Turner has ever made. But you never see any of the other great black artist names mentioned it’s in yo mind set that if you are not on beyonce’s level then you aint shyt, that is so Mofo sad, folks!Just shows how fickle yo asses are.Shy when you think about it alicia, monica, gladys, aretha, mariah, simone, kelly, ciara, mary j, sade,
anita, ella, mahalia and countless others have made a HUGE impact on music but yet many want you to pop yo pu**y hard., be lite bright and dam near white before yo ass can be accepted.

This life is what you make it. Not matter what, you’re going to mess up sometimes, it’s a universal truth. But the good part is you get to decide how you’re going to mess it up. Girls will be your friends – they’ll act like it anyway. But just remember, some come, somg go. The ones that stay with you through everything – they’re your true best friends. Don’t let go of them. Also remember, sisters make the best friends in the world. As for lovers, well, they’ll come and go too. And babve, I hate to say it, most of them – actually pretty much all of them are going to break your heart, but you can’t give up becuase if you give up, you’ll never find your soul mate. You’ll never find that half who makes you whole and that goes for everything. Just because you fail once, doesn’t mean you’re gonna fail at everything. Keep trying, hold on, and always, always, always believe in yourself, because if you don’t, then who will, sweetie? So keep your head high, keep your chin up, and most importantly, keep smiling, because life’s a beautiful thing and there’s so much to smile about.
