With 1,000,000 units sold as of April 2012, this week saw Ms. J’s debut LP ‘Who You Are’ rise seven spots since last week- placing it at an impressive #23.
Impressive, as the album hit Pop shores now over a year ago and arrives after it was certified 2x Platinum in Ireland and 3x Platinum in the UK.
Joining ‘The Voice’ belle’s chart rise is Nicki Minaj ,whose latest single ‘Pound The Alarm‘ continues its ascent in the country’s single tally, now sitting pretty at #11.
Likely to have brought on by the release of its Benny Boom directed video, ‘Alarm’ is now on course to become the Rapper’s fastest selling and longest running Top Twenty hit despite feats previously scored by ‘Starships’.
On an album’s front, her sophomore release ‘Pink Friday : Roman Reloaded‘ climbs 9 spots back in the Top Twenty in its 18th week of release and now resides at #15, 70 spots above her debut effort ‘Pink Friday’ which hit shelves in 2010.
