Perhaps in a bid to right wrongs committed by many a Femcee before her, it seems Nicki Minaj is hell bent on turning herself into a global brand.
Inking lucrative deals with Pepsi Co and MAC as a result of her burgeoning commercial power, today saw the Rapper unveils news pertaining to her future ambitions.
Ambitions, which she hopes will launch a clothing line specifically targeted at her gay audience.
Details below…
In an interview with Rolling Stone Magazine, she announced :
My boys, like the gay boys, are like, “Nicki, please do not exclude us from this clothing line,” so I’m going to make it my business to have stuff that my boys can wear as well.
Also, it’s gonna build, you know? We’ll see how it starts but I don’t want to leave my boys out. They’re too precious and they’re always so supportive, so I’m going to do my best to include the boys and the girls on this one.
Its birth will follow the release of its female counterpart and fragrance- which she revealed would be launched by Macy‘s.
All this, days after her sophomore album ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded’ surpassed sales of 1 million units worldwide, just four months after its release.
Thus far, the LP has spawned the record breaking smash ‘Starships‘ and the meteoric hit ‘Pound The Alarm‘.
