After rising to fame as one third of Brit trio N-Dubz, Tulisa Contostavlos story thus far has seemingly been an open book to the British public in the last few years.
Opening up on the difficult experiences she shared with her mother in 2010’s ‘My Mum & Me’, fans of the ‘Young’ star may have felt they knew everything there was to know about her…following the arrival of well publicized sex tape earlier this year.
Now, in her forthcoming autobiography billed ‘Honest- My Story So Far’, the vocalist has revealed that she was the victim of a sexual assault in 2004, at the hands of someone she believed to be a friend.
Full story below…
The Daily Mail explains:
“At a rave with a few companions, the 24-year-old explained that on the night in question she had seen her friends putting pills in people’s drinks and told them that she didn’t want to get involved.
In the candid book, Tulisa writes that she even lied about having a heart condition to ensure that her drink wouldn’t get spiked.
However as the evening went on she recalls all of a sudden feeling ‘abnormally drunk’, despite only a few drinks.
Following a few dizzy spells, the Camden born singer soon lost her footing and escorted out of the club for fresh air.
Still haunting to talk about, Tulisa remembered: ‘The next thing I remembered was waking up. lying in the back of a cab and seeing the street lights whizzing past me through the windows. I felt completely out of it, and I blacked out again.’
The next time the ‘I Swear’ singer came around she was in a bedroom.”
The starlet then goes onto reveal she woke up to find alleged friend sexually assaulting her.
‘I couldn’t even move, let alone get up or speak, and once again I just blacked out. When I finally woke up in the morning I found myself in a strange house.”
Believing her to be the girlfriend of her attacker, Tulisa then explained she was offered breakfast by his mother but was too afraid to reveal what had really happened.
“I went into the bathroom and burst into tears. Then I pulled myself together, got dressed, and left without saying another word, crying all the way home.”
‘Honest’ hits UK shelves this Thursday.
what was she doing at a club at 16? the legal age is 18 for a reason.
can someone please tell her to go back to brunette? she looks so nasty with the blonde. and her solo music isnt cutting it.
You obviously didn’t have a social life What was she doing in a club Were you ever a t***?
yes, i started clubbing at 18. because you have to be 18 to get in a club
yes. being at clubs when youre 16 justices getting sexually assaulted. You dumb ass!
Poor girl Was it chris brown? Tulisa?
this bitchhhh.
I have no respect for someone who would release this sort of information just to sell her book.
She is just vile and what makes it worse is that she never acknowledges how rank she is. I wouldnt mind if she was doing it as an act and playing up to it but she always gets so defensive when someone points out what a bad representation she is.
URGH!
She’s sharing her story…
What’s wrong with people? The truth is this could happen to anyone we know and care about, OUR sister, OUR cousin, OUR friend. It just shows how sick the world is and how godless society has become. Why aren’t you mentioning how “vile” the actions of her r***** are?
I see what the world has to offer. Everyone puts on their FB & Twitter how “great” a time they’re having but all I see is Pleasure Island. A place where everything is promised and danger lurks around the corner. Thank God for salvation!
I think the problem herein lies that she is saying this all…. BUT She is yet to and will probably not report it.
IF she wants this story to help she should report it. I’m pretty sure she remembers what he looks like from seeing him in the morning and the mother. Give a description to the police…
F*** that!!!!! Tulisa has had it bad man…
Clearly from the sextape she enjoyed it the 1st time!
She didn’t tell her attackers mum or the police but now she’s telling the world. Something smells fishy and it isn’t just her vag!
