Teased today by the snaps provided above and below, it is still unclear as to whether Rapper Nicki Minaj will feature in the flick, after lending a verse to the cut’s ‘Inferno‘ mix.

lets be real..nicki probably wont be in this video. Alicia is trying TOO HARD to prove she can be exciting and nicki would just overshadow her.The same way Alicia felt like second fiddle to Beyoncé she doesn’t do features with women who have more camera power she tried and didn’t like it.I love Alicia but she has unfortunately lost a lot of fans and is viewed as a home wrecker on many blogs.how she will escape that? Number 2 on ITUNES… and by later on tonight or tomorrow she will be number one on ITUNES for R&B….the song is doing good. Not the best but good. Most of R&B singers arent doing good this era in case you didnt know!
I stand corrected. At your prompting, I checked and saw Girl at #2 the iTunes r&b tally, and the song is also selling well in some overseas markets.
However, in its third week on the Hot 100, Girl is down to #55 from a debut peak of #37, the song is #33 on Billboard’s digital downloads chart, and Girl seems MIA at pop radio. These are not spectacular results for a star of Alicia Keys’ status, especially considering that the United States is her home turf.
WITHOUT A MUSIC VIDEO….SHE IS STILL DOING PRETTY REASONABLE.
I love Alicia Keys especially her first 3 albums,but this song is just not IT for me.just saying
