this is IT! So catchy, so fun, and so s***!

  2. the real xoxo October 5, 2012

sounds like another “put it down”, i dont like it. hopefully the rest of the album is better.

    • the real xoxo October 6, 2012

this is what i hate about brandy fans. i never shaded brandy at all, i like her. i was just giving an opinion. look how many thumbs down i got.
Brandy, Ciara, Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown fans are all the same , if you arent asslicking, you are a “hater”.

      • KNUCK October 6, 2012

you got thumbs down because this doesn’t sound anything like “Put It Down”.. This is actually a lot more bass heavy, uses a sample and has a lot more repetition.. . I could see if you said “Cockiness” or even “A Milli”.. but you’re way off hun.

  3. Set Tings Strater October 5, 2012

WOW.. This WOMAN IS NOT FUKIN ABOUT this ERA.. YEs TWOELEVEN set to leave A DENT in history

  4. JazzD October 5, 2012

Not too sure of this track…. It just doesn’t scream Brandy to me!
No Such as Too Late on the other hand is all around FIRE!

    • toohotfortv October 5, 2012

Check out the “Full Moon” album (and the innovativeness that lies within) then tell me what you think of Brandy. People have it so confused because they’re used to hearing the sweet singles, but Brandy is about making waves.

      • Ayo October 6, 2012

Thank you, totally agree, the other two snippets and last song that was released sounded a bit too safe for me, this is more of the innovative side to Brandy’s sound that intrigues me and gets me excited for what her album is gonna be like.

      • IDK October 6, 2012

I agree!!!! this has always been brandy’s style. idk what people are talking about. Lets you know who the band wagon fans are.

  5. RI-GANJA October 5, 2012

hmm i don’t know i feel about this one, the backing vocals sound too choppy which makes it sounds messy at certain parts…ahhh it’s annoying but i’m definitely buying her album and the beat sound dated.

    • BranMuffin October 5, 2012

I love Brandy but this shouldnt be a single! I agree with Ri-Ganja about the messiness in certain parts. It’s clear that she’s taking risks with her sound but risks will not necessarily equal sales. I want more. Anyways, Let Me Go is way too similar to Put It Down…

      • toohotfortv October 5, 2012

Who said this was a single? People kill me. And if you know anything about making an “album” you would know that the purpose behind creating an album is to cultivate a sound/mood/movement. If you’ve followed Brandy’s career, you’d know that she always does that with her albums. Of course “put it down” and “let me go” are similar. They’re a supposed to feel like the work of one cohesive album. Hence the idea of working with a particular producer on more than one song (which, brandy has always done). If you listen to other types of music (anything beyond urban radio) you would understand that most musicians/singers use this strategy when creating an “ALBUM”. I can understand how, for some people (those of us with a less seasoned ear for music) , this might not work upon first listen. Still, if after a few spins you haven’t found the groove, I don’t know what to tell you. Maybe you should stick to listening to the radio. There are plenty of cookie-cutter pop songs to satiate your appetite for mediocrity.

    • Rihanna Navy October 6, 2012

      lol Brandy is that you??

  6. millhouse October 5, 2012

i LOVE IT… this is what Brandy needs. A different sound from her previous records… MUCH BETTER THEN THAT SLOW SONG SHE RELEASED A COUPLE DAYS AGO… I hope this is the 3rd single… and I hope she is dancing through the whole thing… I dont want another HUMAN album. I want to dance. This is the kind of song that I could see her performing in an arena… Its not the best song, but its a move in the right direction. With the right promo I could see Brandy making it into the top 10 on the Billboard charts… and not just the R&B category… Im talking about overall… Now what she needs to do is release that video for Wildest Dreams….. Did she even film it yet?

  7. Sade October 5, 2012

What are you guys hearing? This is not good.

    • RI-GANJA October 5, 2012

ikr, i prefer put it down, wildest dream and No Such Thing As Too Late..this one, meh

      • FAF October 5, 2012

It sounds too much like Put it Down… If they took the intro off the song and left the verses, it would mellow it. It could be track 2 on the album, but not a single

      • toohotfortv October 5, 2012

        ONCE AGAIN!

I love this track! I’m glad she is back! Let’s help her get to number 1 starz…..#TwoEleven!

  9. mkigz October 5, 2012

Not a a bad song, but it sounds reminiscent of “Put It Down”, style wise. I prefer “Wildest Dreams” and “No Such Thing As Too Late” to “Let Me Go”.
    2.5/5 in MY opinion…

  10. JAY GO October 5, 2012

what happened to silent night?? its not on the album. and it sounded good.

    • yeah October 6, 2012

She couldn’t release the song after getting released from her last label the executor released all her songs on youtube and or sold it to other artist hint J.Lo LOUISVUITTON

  11. Love October 5, 2012

      It will…

  13. ASAP (As Sincere As Possible) October 5, 2012

I actually love it! It’s reignited my interest in her new album. In all honesty, I didn’t really like ‘No Such Thing as Too Late’, but this one is more like it. I’m checking for her 🙂

  14. KEVO October 5, 2012

    SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO HOTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!!! BRANDY LETS GO!!!!!!

  16. Babyluv October 5, 2012

“You turn me on wherever we at boy.” Get it Bran!!!! Her man must be puttin’ it DOWN! LOL!

  17. Babyluv October 5, 2012

This is actually the Brandy I remember. It sounds like 2012 Full Moon. Very layered beats, vocals, etc. Futuristic and just a banger. Her music has always been the type that has to grow on people because she makes pretty intricate songs. Plus her albums always present a variety of sounds.

    • toohotfortv October 5, 2012

OMG! Thank you. Finally, someone gets it.

      • Cisco October 6, 2012

FIRE!!!!! i can’t… gotta have this album!!

  18. prettigurlrockD October 5, 2012

Soo it sounds like the same person that produced “cockiness” by rihanna. Of course this song is more tastefully done and not slutty like hers. I think it’s cute. But so far I’m only liking put it down and wildest dreams from the album. The other one and this one is kinda mediocre. Still buying the album though.

      • toohotfortv October 5, 2012

What’s the real joke is that you are trying to insult this song (ie. it’s producer/songwriters/singer) by saying that YOU can’t find the rhythm. Hmmm…. that sounds like a personal problem, sweetie 😉

What are you people talking about? This sounds nothing like “Put It Down”.

    • prettigurlrockD October 5, 2012

      Exactly.

      • Bran Star October 5, 2012

This is MUCH better than Put It Down IMO.

      • Lemel Singletary October 5, 2012

SOOOOO MUCH BETtER, in my opinion TOO!!

    • Ayo October 6, 2012

I thught I was going crazy, it sounds nothing like put it down to me, people her words being sang repetitively and then oh it automatically sounds like put it down, c’mon.

  22. Brandy. October 5, 2012

      • toohotfortv October 5, 2012

        LMAO@Lemel Singletary

  24. thetruth October 5, 2012

This track is wack! Her best song so far was the one she released yesterday. I’m not buying the album, I’ll just listen to it once all the songs are released on youtube. I really dont think it’s a good idea for her to be releasing songs this early. She should have started next week and release a single every other day until the album drops. But, what happen to making your fans wait until it your album drops? That way you know they will support your album.

    • OnlyTheTrue1 October 5, 2012

I have to disagree with you on one point. If they are real fans they’ll buy the album, regardless of if they have heard every track from it before its released. That’s what real fans do, SUPPORT. I had Human on my iPod a week before it was released and I still purchased 3 copies for my friends and me the first day it was in stores.

  25. soulmusiclover October 5, 2012

    overproduced track!

    • toohotfortv October 5, 2012

Actually, it’s very simple. There aren’t really a lot of elements going on here. It’s just that the sounds used are so dynamic, it may not appeal (right away) to laymen listeners 😉 #Have-A-Seat.com

  26. bibi93 October 5, 2012

    Good song!!

  27. Realest October 5, 2012

Mos def feeling this hard edged vibe this is going for.. YES

  28. SENTFROMUPABOVE October 5, 2012

    HOT ASS TRACK!!!!!!!!!
THIS IS RADIO READY AND SHOULD BE A SINGLE
EVERYONE WILL BE BANGING THIS ALBUM IN THEIR CARS
    TRUST & BELIEVE!!!!!!!!

  29. christinastherealtalent October 5, 2012

Imo there are 3 types of artists in this world.

    1. The type of artist who constantly has to push back their album because the songs they push as singles just don’t go anywhere and eventually gets shelved (ahem Cassie) and when the album finally sees a release it flops terribly.

    2. The type of artist who has an amazing sound, releases a handful of strong contenders that can dominate the charts, but they chose to work on their albums a bit longer to continue evolving their sound and the album still sells well.

    3. The 3rd type of artist who is a winner in everything they release and never encounters a push back and they deliver a solid work of art!

Brandy falls into the 2nd one.

  30. Tasha October 5, 2012

I like it! Kelly Rowland sounds good singing Motivation2!

    • trillafood October 5, 2012

      Kelly could never..

      • KNUCK October 5, 2012

right.. none of their faves could.. brandy could release her two singles and the two songs she WILLINGLY posted this week alone and still s*** on them.

      • Jay B October 7, 2012

I wish people would really stop hying Brandy up… I’m just hoping that this album will at least do better than the last two did for her. People swear up and down that Brandy is this TOP artist, vocal bible and so on but YET she hasn’t had an hit since the 90s. Come on people…Facts are facts…

  31. POP ROYALTY ( RUDE BOY) October 5, 2012

    *sigh*

  32. swerve October 5, 2012

Okay Brandy I see you…got a nice lil set up bout to happen with this album. Very creative…me likey!! SOREADY!! #OCT16th

  33. credits October 5, 2012

love it when the beat stops and she harmonizes. Clever way to showcase those vocals. I kind of feel like this is her answer to Beyonce’s ‘countdown’.

  34. KNUCK October 5, 2012

So glad YOU h*** ain’t A&R’n nobody’s album.. All that s*** would sound the SAME!!

Brandy got “Wildest Dreams” on radio and gave you meaning and vocals on “No Such Thing as Too Late”.. but it’s never good enough. You didn’t like “Put It Down” but it’s smashing the R&B charts. So yeah.. Roll on Oct 16 because this album has something for everybody.. I feel this is the most “ratchet” song on the album just from the track descriptions released by reviewers. And I LOVE this!!

Stop listening in those cheap ass headphones and get in sis!

    • Lemel Singletary October 5, 2012

AGREED!! FINALLY Somebody, who thinks like ME!!!

      • toohotfortv October 5, 2012

I was thinking the same thing. Like, this might sound great if you’re listening through cheap speakers/headphones.

  35. Criss October 5, 2012

    Love this!!!

  36. Boss October 5, 2012

I think this is single material

  37. JASONKYLE34 October 5, 2012

I WISH BRANDY COULD RELEASE SOMETHING THATS TOTALLY DIFFERENT THAT WOULD SHOCK EVERY ONE LIKE THE FULL MOON ALBUM JUST SHOWED SO MUCH GROWTH THIS NEW STUFF IS JUST OK MOST DEF NOT A BAD SONG BUT I WOULDNT WANT TO HEAR THIS ON HER ALBUM THIS ALBUM I THINK IS GONNA BE MEDIOCRE LIKE THE LAST 2 AND IM A DIE HARD BRANDY FAN IM STILL BUYING IT BUT JUST WANT BETTER MUSIC

    • KNUCK October 6, 2012

dead!! Ok, I can let you think “Human” was mediocre (which it’s FAR from) but not “Afrodisiac”.. U ain’t die hard s***… have a stadium of seats!!

    • trillafood October 6, 2012

MEDIOCRE? U queens always reaching I swear. kmsl

  38. voneeluv October 5, 2012

not feeling any songs she released. just now tolerating put it down , lay it down what ever

    • ENOUGH ONIKA October 5, 2012

Lol stop it. I agree 100% though. I always voiced how PID wasn’t a good single choice (at least a lead one) and everything post that is just …… I don’t know.

  39. ENOUGH ONIKA October 5, 2012

DD***MMMNNN Brandy! You ALWAYS gave me life with this track but that beat leaves much to desire!! Just when I think I’m about to get my life, you switch it up with those choppy background vocals…It’s still hot in my head though knowing what it could’ve been lol!

    • ENOUGH ONIKA October 5, 2012

      ALMOST***

  40. ERIC October 5, 2012

    It’s a little noisy, overproduced I mean.

  41. Jordon October 6, 2012

This song slaps people in the face with it’s progressive beat, it’s unpredictability and uniqueness. “Two Eleven” is an album that is saving the r’n’b genre and re-inventing it at the same time. ‘Let Me Go’ is so different just like ‘Put It Down’ is. The four songs released from the album are just showing us the versatility of Brandy and how this album is definitely not what people are expecting and it’s a good thing! She’s coming back hard! This album is going to make an impact.

    • Bran Star October 6, 2012

Yesss, finally someone who gets it!

When it comes to Brandy you have to be prepared to expect the unexpected! Vocally and musically, she’s anything but predictable, so that leaves her a lot of room to spread her wings, play with her sound, and really expand and re-invent herself. She’s bout the slap the mess outta people with this album, just like how she did with Full Moon.

  42. Ayo October 6, 2012

Finally, although slighlty too choppy, it’s something different and new, the other songs were starting to worry me a little about the out come of the album being kinna safe.

All I need now is for Brandy to be promoting like crazy, I should be seeing her every where by now, her fans can only do so much.

  43. Ziggy Stardust October 6, 2012

I don’t know about this song here. It sounds all over the place to me. I tried to get into it, but I just couldn’t. :0(

  44. Ayo October 6, 2012

Ok so I’ve replayed the song a couple of times now to get a hang of the flow of it with all the choppiness, and put in my headphones to hear all the intricate touches, and I can officially say that this song is fire, yes yes and yes bring on 2/11. Go Brandy.

  45. pat October 6, 2012

i luv it….enough of putting artists in the box of what you think their sound is traditionally…..people need HITS…i trust brandy enough to kno that she is going to deliver classic brandy on the album along with her new flava

  46. IDK October 6, 2012

There’s a lot of people saying this isn’t brandy’s style. If you say that then you never had all 5 of her albums thus far. smh.

  47. Song Writer October 6, 2012

THIS is what im talkin about!!!!! Being an artist is about growth and taking chances and thats exactly whats shes doing. Its more to a single or a song than just the SONg itself. wwe have to consider direction, live performance, album cohesiveness, music video, promotion etc…many didnt get Run the World until the video came out and same with Put it Down and others,,,,, its crazy how n***** hate something before they love it…..

  48. RoyalKev October 6, 2012

This is actually my favorite track after Put It Down right now! This is what I really want from Brandy, although I appreciate all her different sides. Still, I love when she has that gritty edge to her. I can’t wait to hear more of this on the album.
