Watch: Alexandra Burke Performs For ‘Children In Need’

Published: Saturday 10th Nov 2012 by Sam

Pop powerhouse Alexandra Burke lived up to that billing in a must-see showing for Children In Need.

The ‘Bad Boys’ singer took to the West End stage for C.I.N’s POP Goes the Musical, serving up a rousing performance of ‘On My Own’ from Les Misérables.

Watch the 24 year old vocally fly below…

Stellar!

We can’t wait to hear more of “that” voice on Alex’s upcoming third studio album.

BOOOOOOO! Your comments stink of desperation and your breath. Give your Ho with a soundtrack stanning a rest and put your energy and pennies into buying the album you love so much

So sad that you would vent your venom on someone you do not know. I guess it uncompromise jealousy Alexandra is so talented that it just chokes some people. Get over it, and if you can’t say something nice go and find something constructive to do with your mind. If you are capable of a genuine thought, as it takes nothing to be nasty but qite a lot of thought to be nice.

What’s with her hair? She’s stunning with darker hair. I don’t like the blonde. It washes her out!! Excited for the new album. I pray that it’s not generic pop like the last album.

Agree with you Alexandra is an amazing talented young lady. Has a richer voice than leona. My question is why aren’t people eager to criticise people like cheryl cole who can’t sing, but they are quite happy to say something negative about someone so obviously talented.

    Good

Excellent performance from Alexandra and all for a worthy cause.

In the 90s we had Mica Paris as The Voice in Britain and now we have Alexandra and Leona.

I hope this raises Alexandra’s profile again and brightens her public image. I don’t know why so many people seem to not like her all of a sudden

She did a great job and showed her diversity as an artist, her voice also sounded really smooth whilst singing and didn’t have the rasp and she also sounded good singing at a different pitch.
I hope when working with Rico Love she gets the Brandy 211 Rico and not the Kelly Rowland Rico, and i also hope she works with Jazmine Sullivan, Ester Dean, Missy (songwriting) and makes a diverse album. I understand pop/dance is big in the ststes and that that with enough of a push “let it go” may have donr well in the states, but she cannot do a whole dance album again with a voice like that
