Published: Friday 2nd Nov 2012 by Rashad

Pop siren Christina Aguilera may be readying a media onslaught in support of her November 13th-due ‘Lotus’ album, but that didn’t stop Xtina from taking time tonight to give back to the community – namely New England residents struck by the devastating hurricane Sandy.

Xtina did a good job mostly in staying in tune and in check of her voice. I knew she was going to perform this or “Fighter”. Anyways, I am happy that she, along with others, are helping with the Sandy relief charity. Its always cool when people help those less fortunate and I commend Xtina and the others for stepping up to the plate. Good job Xtina and good luck with Lotus.

Talented, Beautiful and One Of the Greatest Voices of this
Generation….. She’s got it going On!

  14. PrettigurlrockD Bitchess November 2, 2012

I hate when she does too many runs but her belts are powerful minus straining

  15. DOSSOME November 2, 2012

    Amazing & Beautiful performance

  16. Frognherthroat November 2, 2012

she strain’s to much and sounds like a frog stuck in her throat….i guess its a good thing this is for a good cause

This was nice. Tense in simple notes, yes, but less choked than she usually is. Mainly because she stayed within her range, which is rather narrow. I’d prefer she sings like that in the future. She could work as a Judy Garland type of singer concentrating on the mid-low area of her voice and only touching upper 5th octave notes once every light year.

  18. theman November 3, 2012

    Incredible !

  19. Realest November 3, 2012

She did sound good. GO CHRISTINA.. Glad she didn’t try hitting all those high notes ORIGINALLY in the “beautiful” recording but she did a good low register version of this song. I like when she keeps in pocket and doesnt strain WAYYYYYYY to much like usual. And to all those saying she’s the voice of our generation you are retarded, the voice of a generation has to do MORE than just sing good they have to encompass music and song which defines that era which Christina HAS NOT, seeing as though she hasn’t TRULY garnered a classic since 2002’s Stripped… I’m not a stan but PLEASE don’t deny Beyonce of her title as she is the voice of this generation garnering vocal, dance, visual, style, sales and performance accolades that NOOOOOOOOO popular artist has this decade and with prolonged and consistency. With that said I am proud of Christina and looking forward to this album.. Follow me on twitter mario_miguelito

Beyonce’s range in “love on top” and runs in “i care”>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Christina’s entire discography.

  20. krys November 3, 2012

    Que de souvenir….

  21. Miguel November 3, 2012

    I prefer the original version

She just has to add 20x more runs to every sentence when she does it live

  22. mobwife: Easy Breezy Baby November 3, 2012

No, “I was born ON Staten Island!!” Xtina

    Anyway, I LOVE THIS SONG……..”SANG” XTINA!! 🙂

I’m glad Christina Aguilera made time in her busy schedule to attend this benefit for the victims of Hurricane Sandy. I loved her moving performance of “Beautiful.” It was also great to see performances by Billy Joel, Mary J Blige and Jon Bon Jovi. I’m glad my DISH coworker suggested I watch this special. I wasn’t home when it aired so I recorded it on my DISH Hopper. When I played this back I was able to start watching on my living room TV and then continued watching on my basement TV right where I left off.
