She may has risen to fame little more than a year ago, but Rapper Azealia Banks has revealed her plans to retire from….Rap.
Yep, you read that right.
In a recent interview with ‘HYPERTRAK TV’, the ‘Runnin’ belle has opened up on why she feels the craft isn’t lady like, her thoughts on today’s batch of male MC’s and her distrust of the fashion industry- which she has billed ‘fickle’.
Watch below…
‘Runnin’:
Shut up already miss Banks!
damn…i was hoping no one would see this…smh i don’t know why as a new rapper you would say this…she’s showing that she’s too weak for this industry…i thought she was gonna be the one of the women to carry the torch of female rap w/e Nicki was ready to pass the torch smh…i hope this is just talk and she’s not serious…that “ladylike” bs is just an lame excuse
Exactly… only the strong will survive anyways. If its too “un- ladylike” to her then leave & let Nicki reign alone smh
as if shes a lady anyway stfu
You cant quit rap that means we might still have to listen to… pop minaj
like u been doing… NEXT F*** !
I believe it’s suspose to be ‘You’ get out of the ghetto and back into school h**! 🙂
um no she said EVENTUALLY she will quit rapping.
shes still a better rapper than your silicone fave TGJ.
definitely buying her album!
but you prob didn’t buy her EP for $4.26, so are you willing to pay $11.99?…no shade, just asking…cuz I know I’m buying her album cuz i think she’s dope and i want her to win…i even bought Kreayshawn’s album even though no one else did lol…and this is coming from a die-hard Nicki Minaj fan
All Azealia has is a good flow.. she isn’t lyrical at all. Plus all her music sounds the same no diversity at all smh. You can buy her album it won’t stop it from flopping
Flopping lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
(ears start ringn…peaks head around corner…OOOO A ICKI STAN!! RUNS TO POST) B**** THATS THE DAMN PROBLEM…U A ICKI STAN SO WHO GIVES A FLYN F*** WHAT U THINK H**!! (kenya Moore twirls and Tyra Bank shashays off post chile)
B**** STFU ALREADY H**. FLOPZELIA WHO?
Better than who? Lil Kim? LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
Nicki not silicone f*** ! Her ass is hydrogel look it up! She has had no plastic surgery !
Deeeeeeath @ psa shadin icki w/o realizn it
It’s not a shade, F***! the queen b*** is injected ! Who fucken cares? It looks better than every b**** who had it done in the game ! WHO MAD?
Doing an article on this soon…to her (and several other femcees) straight-up hip-hop is the “Genre of No,” forcing strict rules on the sound and dress code, deeming anyone who breaks these “sell-outs”.
I see the question is no longer “Can we save hip-hop?” Now it might be “Is hip-hop worth saving?”
!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Ppl want anyone to come along and “Save rap” but they forget their Flops (Eve, Kim, Missy) Did pop hits as well…
“Tambourine”
“Pass That Dutch”
“How Many Licks”
were pop for that era !!! They jealous of QUEEN Minaj success and legacy !!!!
Pass that dutch is NOT a pop song!
Tambourine is NOT a pop song!!
How many licks is NOT a pop song!
LMFAO!!! ATLEAST TRY and state FACTS!! LMFAO!! I CANT!!! *Laughs at computer screen*
Too bad Kim was NEVER pop & neither was Eve. They may have featured on songs by pop artists, but that doesn’t make them pop acts themselves. Missy Elliott definitely merged a lot of different genres including pop in her songs but let’s go back: Missy was originally an R&B singer – she never was 100% hip-hop to begin with so PLEASE get your facts straight next time before you try to make a point and end up looking stupid….
Lets not forget Eve’s “If I was a rich girl, nanananananana!!!” and the song that got Krim a grammy “Lady Marmalade” was a pop song !
And remember eve was FEATURED on rich girl!! Its actually a GWEN STEFANI SONG!! LMFAO!! TRY AGAIN D***!!! HA!!
oops!
And it won a grammy miss Laurie did it not ? Lmaoooo
y’all try to contribute that to her legacy ! Therefore it was her song too !
nominated ***
STFU the end
Wait!!! WHAT??!?! Since when was she “lady like”??? This girl is filled with SO much s***, she’s going to ruin her chances at ever making it big. Her biggest problem is her mouth and her twitter. She needs to get her life at the nearest conventional shop or else she can kiss her music world goodbye. Girl, hush and stop bluffing. This girl is just……..she makes a certain pink wig rapper look like a saint…..
Ch……..

That sucks cuz she is way better than Madame GARBAJ.
Lyrically, no she isn’t.
Enough with your flopping lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
DEATH ! @mimi
just ignore IT , IT is pressed IT’s fave has not recovered from that verbal lashing on AI !
Her fave is Mariah. Forget that Gimmick was the one who was tarnished like you forgot that PF:RReflopped has yet to read 750k in the U.S? The struggle
And RIAA certified it platinum !! Unlike Manriah !!
The lies & deceit !!!!!!!!!! *DEAD*
its scanned over 772k … MAD ? In 8 mos in what Memoirs took 3 yrs to do ! SMH
RIAA certified Music Box 10 million (Diamond) unlike Nicki. What’s the point of comparing a legend to a clown when you know Mariah has outsold gimmick in every way possible?
“The lies & deceit !!!!!!!!!! *DEAD*
its scanned over 772k … MAD ? In 8 mos in what Memoirs took 3 yrs to do ! SMH”
You’re right, Nicki’s 2nd album that was heavily promoted sold 772k this after 8 months of release and 1.4 million ww. 😆 Memoirs was Mariah’s 12th album but you already know this and want to play dumb so, Mariah’s 2nd album had a #1 single on Hot 100 and it sold 4 million in the U.S. and 10+ million in the world. When will Nicki? 🙄
And RIAA certified it platinum !! Unlike Manriah !!
LMFAO!! I CANT!!!!!!
Isn’t this the SECOND time she’s quitting? Girl I can’t. LMAOO This girl is a somewhat good rapper but her attitude is the problem why she probably won’t have a long career *My opinion* and some of you guys are saying Nicki Minaj is whack her pop songs? Yeah Some of them are but she tweeted that she’s not doing pop anymore and I don’t know why some of you act like Nicki Minaj isn’t the BEST rapper out there. Some of you listen to the media more than you listen to her music. I’m not a huge fan of her but she does rap better than a lot of male mcs out there. But ya to STUPID to realize it. Anyway Beyonce is coming back to SNATCH THEM WIGS H***. *kisses*
UFUNKY B**** WHAT THE F*** U MEAN TALKN ALL THAT BUUUULLSHIT ABOUT ICKI?! THAT B**** WHACK U C*** AND YOOOU TOO STUPUD TO REALIZE IT U WANG FOOT B****!! but im waitn on Queen Bey too chile!! She finna just scalp hoez!
And the b**** may as well stick to pop cause hip hop dont want the b****. *pops p**** to she bad bad*
Ok, Bye B****
WTF? why would she do that why are you retiring as a rapper when you haven’t made it yet…Smh makes no sense to me….
*takes deep breath*….. this b**** here is annoying as f***.. all she do is run her mouth and diss other people and make her self sound ignorant and thirsty for attention! its such a shame cause she is really talented and i liked some of her musicbut she needs to go … you cant come in to the rap game and expect to make it by dissing other.. she dissed kim and then tried to diss nicki minaj thats a NO NO …i hope the b**** can sing cause if she dont then thats another rap b**** that tried to make it and fell flat on her ass… *DONT GO AGAINST NICKI IMPOSSIBLE*
SIDE NOTE= and if you do come in the game dissing other’s you have to be a good ass rapper and have the looks and personality , just how nicki did!! *brushes shoulders off*
Kim came at Nicki first though. Everybody knows Nicki is not the type to hold her tongue so chill. Plus Azealia liked Kim (dissed Nicki), then when Kim said she didn’t claim her she dissed Kim (then praised Nicki) ugh this girl is such a flip flop!!
Lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All lies!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And Nicki still a flop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lil Kim is a liar ! She said Nicki dissed her on a song from ’09 yet she posed with her on Waynes tour in 09!!!!!!!!
Dumb hoez Icki came at kim first…children!! I swear yall p****** STINK like hell!!
@FAF Was that before or after nicki dissed her????
@PSA (FAF) truEEEEEEEE *2 chainz voice*
maybe isn’t lady like because there are girls like her that talk s*** about everything and everyone.
yasssss hunty spill that tea!!
I mean with Gaga and Beyonce comeing back every one should stop singing and raping because they wigs and d**** about to get snatch aneyway
yeah if everyone sold they album on amazon for $1 of course they be snatching wigs!! F*** OUTTA HEA!!
@vanny
Yet it still sold millions! looool! There’s seriously no point! Their still getting money!
I WAS ROOTING FOR YOU, WE WERE ALL ROOTING FOR YOU, HOW DARE YOU QUIT….WHEN I SAW YOUR UK TOUR AND PUT MONEY IN YO POCKET N S*** AINT EVEN STARTED!
DEAD!
I’m convinced this b**** is crazy
i was thinking the same thing…i think she has mental problems.. and im really serious about it..
So do i! Didn’t her mother say she was crazy a while back??
Well apparently her mum herself was quite crazy towards her!
i dont know about that, but a blind man can see this b**** bipolar..
B****** get a little money and get money happy…..smh…thats what happened to alot of these female rappers… they put out a couple of albums get a little rich and you never hear from them again ..and when s*** hits the fan and they start going broke all they fans and the public dont give a f*** about them anymore and people lose interest in them.. only the smart ones actually make a brand out themselves and capitalise out of the success they have initially. you cannot dissapear and not drop an album in 7 or 10 years and think that you will be succesful cause that s*** is not gonna happen!! i wish LIL KIM-EVE-MISSY alot of luck cause they gonna need it!
I kinda think she takes herself too seriously anyway and I can’t seem to get into her music. Nicki Minaj isn’t the greatest rapper but at least she tries to give her fans a different sound in her music and be a little versatile. I’ve listened to azealia’s songs. None of them stand out from each other. Not a lil Kim fan either but her rap songs hardly ever sounded alike either and she did all rap. I appreciate her paying homage to the 90’s. But to me her music is trash and forgettable.
Although i haven’t been ejaculating in my paints for her like many others have, i hear her in this interview.
If you look at the transition of Queen Latifah and how she used her singing voice and became a successful singer and actress who is respected as a black woman in the industry, i think that this is what she might be talking about.
I feel that female rap artists have a short shelf life, and although music lives in memories and cds the live persona of a female rap artist is only successful on an occasional feature on stage or record.
She has got her head screwed on and few other females need to take note
jajajajajajaaj omg so funny *holds stomach* …. “she has her head screwed on” really? this b**** is more bipolar that britney and a polar bear hunty… she dissed nicki minaj to get with kim.. then after that did not work out she dissed lil kim to get with nicki minaj.. have several seats…
ok girl…. but how relevant are you outside of the blogosphere? how about you make it first, release an album, let it be successful before you come here talmbout you gonna get bored with this life.. rap is ‘tacky’?? ok.. her attitude is the reason why the hiphop community hasnt even embraced her smh

But what r u REALLY tryna say?? Lololol!
You really took the time out of your life to do that….
Twisting words! She said she would eventually want to retire. Samantha
the b**** needs to retire even before her career starts.. aint nobody checkin for her.. she has a small fanbase and no other fanbase from any other female rapper likes her cause she runs her mouth to much!! *have several seats*
1. Rapping isn’t lady-like? But aren’t you the one giving the slutter interviews talking about you f***** because you just wanted to touch someone and put all the explicit stuff in your raps?? YOUR raps aren’t lady-like, you could easily change your flow and mindset but it seems like you’re too weak to even try.
2. B**** get some therapy. Folks talk s*** about Nicki being bi-polar but we aint seen a h** as nutty as you in the industry for a minute. YOU destroyed your career with s*** talking. You came for EVERY SINGLE RAPPER OUT from Krea to Kim to Nicki to Iggy and when you turned off so many fan bases and revealed yourself to be two-faced you come out with this victim crap. You need some help because you’ve ‘quit’ rap twice and you ain’t even out yet.
3. Girl kiss the fashion industry’s feet. Let’s be super duper real. If it wasn’t for them snatching those lame wigs off your head and filling down your crusty feet you’d still be rocking 29.99 weaves and Rainbow outfits. THEY gave you the push. I never felt your music that much (too repetitive, no variation, all about s**) but even I know they gave you the stages and support. If they’re ‘fickle’ now its probably cause you ran your mouth to the wrong person and burned your own self. You got SO much love from the fashion folks.
Know this is too long but this chick irks me with her nonsense, barely out but saying she’ll quit in the future like she’s 3 albums deep and has a shelf full of awards. Humble yourself Ms. Banks.
Preach!
Seems like somebody is upset because their career still hasn’t taken off. Her attitude is worse than Nicki’s i mean lets be honest. She went back and forth with Kim took shots at Nicki and Missy and Iggy. Like Girl at least Nicki’s only female rap beef was with Kim.
Don’t forget Nick tried to diss Lil’ Mama as well as Azealia Banks, Keys, Da Brat, Eve & kreayshawn.
stop lying Nicki never attack banks, banks was the one who dis nicki two time and up to this day nicki said nothing to her,and the brat situation was a misunderstanding someone hack brat twitter account and dis nicki and nicki shot back because she though it was brat, then brat said it wasn’t her than nicki apologize and it ended there, nicki never tried to dis Eve are kreayshawn, keys dis nicki first nicki address it simple as that…why are you lying shot da f-ck up.
@oh no she didn’t diss Lil Mama she said “5 lil mama, you a 3 star” that’s slang for “girl” or “chile”
Why is he talking about been lady like when he’s a t*****..!
Acting like a ghetto black woman finally backfired in her face. All that running her mouth against that white rapper, the dissing black rappers who have been in the game ( at the top ) longer than her, and saying coldplay manager beat her up on twitter blew up in her face. It did not help her that she is dark, ugly with horrid green weave , doing weird techno rap.
She will never make it like Nicky Minaj or even the blonde white girl. Oh well Azaliea. you win some and you lose some.
Did she know know she is dark skin black woman, so she had to play the game and humble herself? Hip hop is black male dominated and black men already has a negative view of dar skin women, so she had to prove them wrong.
Then attacking that blonde white girl is exactly why Iggy was on anMTV tour with rita ora, performed at VHI diva. has TI backing her, graced the cover of XXL rookie of the year, did a BET cypher and got signed to wilhemina models and face of Henry holland shades, while the dark skin girl was left to rot in the dust.
I am ho sympathy and she will go away in 2013. You can tell her she had no upbringing. Classless, ugly and ghetto. No wonder she has no career. Iggy played the game right. Well, she is white.
Enough with the race baiting. Please, just stop. S***!
@wrinkle #long sighin and rolln eyes# b**** just shut UP DAYUM!!
am gonna print this here, cos I know you are dying right now.
Rihanna is gonna flood the airways to block out beyonce. Pour it up and Righht now have been sento Kiss FM radio. Pour it up is now at number 10 billboard bubbling under chart. And vevo have certified 100% russina roulette as having 100 million views.
LOL LOL that beyonce comeback just got even more harder. Where is her single?
rihanna is a studio singer…. and BEYONCE is an vocalist, entertainer and performer… get it the f*** together h**!
And yet the studio singer owns teh chart……h**
DEAD @vanny
Didn’t she already quit hip-hop? Oh well. Makes no difference; she’ll do Kreayshawn numbers. She has yet to release a follow up single to 212 (like Kreay did with Gucci Gucci) and by time she does no one will be checking for her. Plus as someone mentioned, Kreay, Nicki, Kim, Iggy, Jeezy, and T.I fans don’t like her. She’s pissed off too many fan bases
Did Gucci Gucci ever happen! You know it was people from her label where bigging her up on YouTube and blogs. Azealia Banks will not do Flopshawn’s numbers ever!
This b**** is a lunatic. I wish she would check into a psych ward.
She didnt say anything wrong…..
And shes nice, lol. Lyrically and her cadences>>>>>>>>
Shed going far on sheer talent and showmanship.. shes a star.
Obviously some of you fools didn’t watch the whole video. She said she will eventually quit rapping because she will get bored of rapping but right now she still wants to release her album and possibly a second one in 2013. She also said she would like to go back to school and get vocal lessons and pursue another genre.
there is 3 days left of 2012 so is she releasing both albums next year?? cause your saying she wanna release her second album in 2013… so maybe the fool is yourself h**!
She’s releasing TWO in 2013!! Understand??
No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We need you to replace Nicki who flops!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Deeeeeeeath!!
There is something very wrong with you people. Either you’re all mentally challenged or just bat s*** crazy. The envy you have for these people that you disguise as praise is disgusting. Did you even listen to anything she said. Does not wanting to leave the house in shape wear and leggings offend you all in some way. None of you know anything about hip hop and only like the people you like because the tv told you to. Pathetic people log off the computer and take care of yourselves. You’re probably the same people that attack others in threads about how they shouldn’t comment on someone’s article if they don’t like that person. Azealia performs non stop over seas. The art heads and fashion enthusiasts know who she is. She is a part of a world that you illiterate asses know nothing of; one that is cultured. You idolize people who do the dumbest things for attention and put others down because they don’t want to be a part of the circus. I feel so bad you guys. I hope she does quit. She would have to turn into a joke to gain the approval of people like you. If i were her, I’d leave too. A bunch of sad pathetic losers you are. And if the people that run this site consider themselves anything close to journalists; you might want to look up what that word really means. The key is to be objective. I don’t even know why i wrote this. No one on this site that posts regularly has an IQ above 15. So sad.
Haha!! Thank you, someone with an actual brain speaks! You are totally right, these pathetic “Bystanders” most likely have 0 talent, 0 contributions, but major in Sh*t Talking 101 and none of them are even half way relevant to society, sticking up for people they’ve never met a day in their life. Obsessed much? This is the reason why good music and REAL talent isn’t appreciated.
That’s ok. She can leave, we have Iggy Azalea
Being a Bieber fan, you shouldn’t have an opinion AT ALL! My dog has better taste.
u are in no position to talk with that title.
People hyping up this b1tch because they don’t like Nicki Minaj and that,s a simple fact, only thing this banks b**** do is rap fast over some tight beats and you can hardly hear some of the sh!t she is saying and some that you do hear an’t sh1t,she talking all this cr2p from she f-ck her way to a rec deal[she make rap females look bad]…this b1tch an’t clean talking about she only date older men like that 60 year old she was f-cking when she was 17 now she is f-cking her producer the person who signed her are whoever the f-ck he is,she isn’t no were yet and she bin picking fights talking sh!t about people who did nothing to her.
She is a f-cking nasty wh-re who is getting it twisted thinking she is some f-cking classy lady…what a delusional b-ch….like i said the reason you all like are pretending to like this b1tch is because you all don’t like Nicki minaj and will take anything are anybody to take her place…yall and this b1tch can f-ckoff she even dis the sh1t out of kim/fans and most of you kim fans is still rolling with banks f-cking bias hypocrite…but when nicki dis kim are do a dis track that isn’t even aim at kim you all go up in harms.
Speak correct English you supporter of the majors flop a.k.a Nicholas threesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

this b**** is more bipolar that britney spears and a polar bear combined hunty… she dissed nicki minaj to get with kim.. then after that did not work out she dissed lil kim to get with nicki minaj.. have several seats…
Only floppity flops like Nicki need to have several seats because they flop!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Exactly ! @vanny She went back & forth !!! Now Kim fans like her bc they see she not a threat to Kim & she came back crawling, kissing her ass…… but when Nicki blew up, it made lil k** stains mad !! Kiiiiiiiii
@PSA (FAF) yassss hunty!! i could not had said it better!!
As a record label or company or even a fan, why would i invest my time into an artist who disregards the music. If you see the music as a waste of time, then we will see your career the same way.Theirs no point putting out a rap album in 2013 if you do not like RAP. U might as well retire now.
& calling the art “un-ladylike” or saying you don;t like it is clearly some attention seeking method because your music is the epitome of what is considered unladylike about rap. So there is not point denying it. If that’s who you are, be it.
I feel as though Azaelia banks is that girl that likes to be different for the sake of being different. She’s the girl that will always want to oppose anything that is popular just to get a certain interest or buzz.. Don’t deny who you are. You’re a rapper. Thats what you chose to be. Sometimes people are afraid to just agree with others, because they don’t want to feel like a follower. But if u like something, you just like it. This “I’m trying to be different” act is getting annoying. I
Azealia Banks can say whatever she wants because it don’t matter what anyone says about her, she’s 15x better than EVERY other rapper and twice as pretty. 2013 will belong to Azealia Banks
This d*** is so tiring ! Let it go no one knows you besides ATRL & Twitter, h** ! I cant believe u even have fans ! U dissed Jim jones over him saying he came up w/ the term “vampin” ? U got sued bc u used montel jordan song for “Esta Noche” & tried to release it to itunes for campital gain !
U have no business sense nor integrity !!!!
Nicki killed all these washed up h*** before their careers even started !
U better get like Iggy & say u love the QUEEN, h** !!!!
@PSA (FAF) *gets up the chair and gives round of applause* go awwfff!!!
Really? See this is why I lost faith in the girl. What is the point of even attempting to continue the development of your completely new music career if your not even going to be fully dedicated to it? Especially when you basically trash talk everyone in a bad attempt to get attention which ended up back firing.
B**** get back in that booth and rap me my next tune! You can’t do a ‘Nicki Minaj’ on us just yet!
“Do a Nicki Minaj on us?” lmfao That h** gotta get on billboard first!
Shut up c***, that was kind off my point, she needs to make it without going pop so soon. Nicki was releasing mix tapes for years and when she first when mainstream she was the s***. But if she went too mainstream this early and flops she wouldn’t even be known commercially and she wouldn’t be respected by her original fan base (like Iz)! Anyway she already had a top 40 in the UK, people know who she is here.
She stated she will keep rapping but not for a long period of time. She wants to venture out, do different things! She doesnt see herself being a rapper throughout her career.
Hold up Hold up Hold da f*** up………… I wuz gonna let y’all go at it on dis post, but then heard u dusty bums talkin s*** about the queen rap chicks/legends Eve and Missy. First of all @PSA (FAF) sit ur s***** kitty stank ass down somewhere bcuz u knw no facts bcuz tambourine, pass the dutch, how many licks r Not Pop songs. Yeah they did dibble and dabble with pop songs ,but they didn’t make no pop album. Besides they were well into their careers when they did do pop songs. Eve and lil kim both had mac deals so sicki icki minaj is not the only female rapper to have one. Hell even azealia banks got a mac deal. U act like Eve and missy haven’t had top 10 singles b4. My girls coming back in 2013 and going to shut s*** down and take their crowns. Nicki have dissed other rappers, ranting and raving on twitter, talking s*** just like azealia is doing and it didn’t stop her from success so why would it hinder azealias career from being successful. Besides missy likes and is working with azealia and eve likes her as well. Kayne is backing her and working with her and so is lady gaga so she will be fine. 2013 is the year of legend female rappers and up and coming watch and listen and u will deal. @vanny stfu up to and sit down.
Agreed. Vanny and PSA (FAF) are just pressed sorry ass Icki Mirage fans that have nothing better to do than disrespect successful and talented rap veterans like Missy and Eve (etc).
This b**** is wack anyways. All of her s*** sounds the same. We have Iggy, we dont need this h**
iggy aint s*** compared to azealia!
Ain’t nobody got time 4 Dat
Talent is nothing if your heads not in the game and you’re willing to work hard.
She’s just shown me I shouldn’t take her seriously because she’s fulfilling her own prophecy.
I guess she’s trying to do this so when her album bombs she can say, “I was over rapping anyway”
Girl! wasn’t anybody checking for u anyways, lol that b**** nick got all the gurls running for the boarder. smh
Then why are you make people think that your a rapper
think twice before you start something and do what you love to do dont get into rap because its easy dont sing because its easy do what you love to do
i like her as a rapper but im a bit confused on what she wants to do in the future
Because Azealia and Nicki are not hip hop heads. They use the genre to make money. That’s why they can easily dismiss the culture.
Even though Lauryn Hill sings more than she raps, we still consider her hip hop because hip hop is a CULTURE, not just rapping.
Azealia and Nicki are hip hop fakers, which most people have been saying all along. Rapping over a beat doesn’t make you hip hop.
I feel her, when young ladies turn into mothers some lyrics shouldn’t be said.
I thought you have to have a CAREER in order to “RETIRE”…Just cause you have a few songs out doesn’t mean that you have a career..
Her journey has been the equivalent of working at Mc Donalds, Checkers, and Popeyes as a cook for the summer and then saying I think I’m gonna retire!
Go ahead,….Your presence or lack of it will NOT be missed! I can assure you!
