Aubrey O’Day Performs At Krave Massive New Year’s Concert

Published: Wednesday 2nd Jan 2013 by Sam

Pop siren Aubrey O’Day is pressing on with her solo ambitions.

The Danity Kane diva took centre-stage at the Krave Massive New Year’s Eve Party in Las Vegas on Tuesday morning, serving up a titillating set of songs from her DK heyday as well as solo favourites such as ‘Automatic’ and ‘Wrecking Ball’. O’Day also premiered her latest single ‘Before I Drown’.

Overt lip-syncing aside (much of which can be excused given the high-octane nature of some performances), O’Day’s set was solid – so too is much of her new material.

However, with 2013 marking the fifth year since Danity Kane disbanded (R.I.P), there is a pronounced air of “now or never” surrounding most of the member’s solo endeavours. Given how talented each of the ladies are, we hope Aubrey and co find the success they deserve. How or why major labels are sleeping on these girls is beyond comprehension.
