Report: Destiny’s Child To Reunite Live At 2013 Superbowl!

As the days draw nearer to pop superstar Beyonce‘s highly anticipated 2013 Superbowl Halftime showing, more and more details emerge from the diva’s top secret set list.

Now, if reports from US Weekly are to be believed, fans will be whipped into a frenzy after news that Mrs. Carter is set to reunite with former Destiny’s Child bandmates for a live performance of a new song plus a medley of hits:

The R&B superstar, 31 — who is headlining the big event on Feb. 3 at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans — will be joined onstage by her Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly exclusively.

…the “Crazy in Love” singer will open the much-anticipated show solo; midway through her performance, Williams and Rowland will appear onstage and launch into a short medley of the group’s hits, culminating in a brand-new song, “Nuclear,” their first original material in more than eight years.”

The news, which comes after today’s announcement of a “new DC3 album“,  is certainly a prayer answered to many fans who’ve long awaited the reunion of the dynamic threesome!  This show is lining up to be the Superbowl’s most epic yet – said to be topped off with a live unveiling of the lead single from Bey’s 5th solo LP.


Tidbit:  This looks to be a great year for DC3 fans!  A “new” joint Destiny’s Child album, live reunion, and new solo project from each member due this year?  Roll on 2013!
