This girl deserves to be a big deal in America but by now America has shown that TALENT does not matter but MONEY runs things.

I have to give it to her team … they have done an awesome job promoting the album. Aside from her live performances on TV, I have seen commercials (with endorsements from Jay-Z & Alicia Keys), and advertisements in the movie theaters. That’s not bad for an album that has not generated much interest..
I just wish the US would recognize how truly talented she is.
She has a spectacular gift and I love her CD. All those folks from the UK are great and have been a huge success here!
I love Emeli Sande ‘Our Version of Events’ was my favorite cd from 2012 and i’m from America. She just has true talent, and a true message to deliver. I hope she can reach the American market and open up the spectrum of music again.
Personally, I do not see her having big success in america. The American public do not look at her, the way they did Amy and Adele ( you know the reason ) They just see her as talented, not so attractive black woman, of which THE USA has many.
This is the second time she has ” released ” her album in THE USA, despite have huge TV commercials and discounted to only $ 5.99, JOE budden full price LP is outselling her. Next to me has been performed on the today show, GMA, Letterman and now Ellen and yet it is only top 60 on itunes – young jeezey new single is slaying her up. I do not even think her second LP in the UK will be as big. I think she is one album UK sensation who lucked out.
