Fresh from serving up Urban smash ‘Love & War’, Tamar Braxton is rolling right on with new single ‘The One’.
The outspoken star, who is gearing up for season three of WE tv hit ‘Braxton Family Values’, performed the track at a Power 92 radio event in Chicago this week.

Granted the cam quality was so-so, we’re loving what we hear of the track. It manages to further root Tamar in flavour-filled R&B, while still keeping it young, fresh, and “poppin'”.

TOTALLY READY FOR THE ‘LOVE AND WAR’ ALBUM IN A FEW WEEKS. SHE’S ALWAYS GIVEN GREAT R&B. I’M SO READY FOR “HOT SUGAR” TO BE RELEASED AND MAKE THIS ALBUM BLOW UP. SHE’S GOT EVERYONE’S ATTENTION, THAT’S FOR SURE. THE NEW SEASON OF BFV AND THESE SINGLES SHOULD HELP THE ALBUM GREATLY.

She needs to become more of an Entertainer if she wants Success, not just a singer, IMO. Her performances lately look sort of Amateur-ish. She sings on top of tracks and flips her hair and paces the stage. There’s no Choreography or anything.

LOL you know not eveyone has the ability to actually perform on stage. Some folks are good singers and that carry’s them. Others are good dancers and average singers and carry’s them. Them then you have artists like MJ, Janet, Madonna, Beyonce, Chris Brown and a hannful of others who really put on damn good live show combining singing, dancing, and great special effects. Ppl & the media talk sh*t about performers but they make shows…..award and live concerts …. worth watching and attending!

Of course Tamar’s performances seem amateur at this point, everyone has to start somewhere…let’s see how she develops. I do agree with the idea that there is still work to be done in honing the stage presence beyond the tv character. WHY NOT take Keyshia Cole’s lane? Tamar is a better singer and Keyshia screwed herself with those Twitter rants. I doubt anyone is checking for her at this stage…#Tamartian

Interesting comment earlier. is she pregnant. if anyone hasn’t noticed , not her style of dressing, baggy clothes.she has taken too long of a hiatus before releasing anything after love and war , nevertheless something doesn’t add up. with that said amazing voice and talent. lets hope she really takes it seriously and takes advantage of her popularity now that Toni has retired. wish her the best.
Tamar has been around for YEARS. Why is she still performing like a 10th grader in a talent show? She is soooo cocky on her show, but once onstage she DOESN’T DELIVER! Her performances are dull and she doesn’t connect with the audience. If I had a 13 year gap between my debut and sophomore album, id make sure that everything was on point. Damn she didn’t take any tips from Toni?
