Jill Scott is heading back to TV!
After wooing audiences on Minghella’s ‘The No.1 Ladies’ Detective Agency‘, the ‘Cross My Mind’ singer has inked a new deal with CBS to star in their forthcoming drama ‘Second Sight‘.

Set to star alongside Jason Lee, Jill will play a Dr. Callier, tasked with handling the ocular disease that makes the show’s protaginist experience horrific hallucinations.
Based in New Orleans, the psychological thriller will no doubt mark new territory for the Soul belle whose latest album ‘The Light Of Sun‘ debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200, her fourth LP since her 2000 debut ‘Who Is Jill Scott? Words & Sounds Vol.1′, which has now been certified 2x Platinum in the US and Gold in the UK.
