Tye Tribbett Drops New Single ‘Same God’

That Grape Juice was on hand at the 2013 Stellar Awards for the live unveiling of the long-awaited new single from gospel hitmaker Tye Tribbett.  Entitled ‘Same God (If He Did It Before)’, the track is said to lead the ‘No Way’ maestro’s summer-due project ‘Greater Than’.

Deitrick Haddon Announces Plans For New Album ‘R.E.D.’

First Taylor Swift, then Ne-Yo, now ‘Love Him Like I Do’ divo Deitrick Haddon is readying a ‘R.E.D.’ album.  Our friends at DaGospelTruth report that Haddon’s new album, an acronym for ‘Restoring Everything Damaged’, is due in June while its first single may come as early as this month.

Here’s hoping Haddon’s return to charts will help offset rampant reports about his personal life – some fueled by comments made by the gospel singer himself.

Marvin Sapp Sounds Off On Controversy Over Gospel Song With ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ Star Kandi Burruss

As fans know, this month brought with it the debut of ‘Stay Prayed Up’ – the gospel single written/performed by ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’ starlet Kandi Burruss and gospel crooner Marvin Sapp.

With that combination came much scrutiny about Burruss – whose other claim to fame is a line of adult/sex toys – releasing a gospel single and ‘sending conflicting messages’.
