Kelly Clarkson Performs ‘People Like Us’ On ‘American Idol’ / Confirms Two New Albums

Kelly Clarkson, the first and most successful American Idol star, made a triumphant return to the Fox show stage last night.

The Soulful Pop songstress is hot on the promo trail for her first retrospective set ‘Greatest Hits: Chapter One’ and served up a performance of one of the LP’s new songs ‘People Like Us’.

The song still doesn’t rouse us, yet there’s no denying that Kelly -as ever- nailed it!

In other Ms. Clarkson news, she confirmed in a recent interview that fans can look forward to not one but two new albums in the next 12 months. Up first she says is a Christmas album, which arrives towards the end of this year, while the beginning of next will see the release of a new full-length studio album. The as-yet-untitled set will follow 2011’s ‘Stronger’.
