With Urban radio helping the cut generate further steam this year, Elijah Blake‘s ‘XOX’ has found a new home in mass media company Viacom this week.
For, in continuing on in their efforts to shine light and support new talent, the company have inked a deal with The Island Def Jam Group, ROC Nation and Stephen Hill‘s BET to premiere and place the single’s video on heavy rotation on the latter company…this week.
Details below…
Shot in Los Angeles last month, the video for the Common assisted single will premiere on the network this coming Tuesday- with the cut reportedly heading to iTunes on the same day.
As part of his deal with the Viacom owned company, the video will enjoy favorable rotation on the Bow Wow hosted show- six months after the song debuted via the singer’s 2012 EP ‘Bijoux 22‘, and- if murmurs are to be believed- will feature on forthcoming episodes of hit VH1 show ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta‘, whose last episode (May 6th) pulled in 3.06 million viewers.
Recently playlisted by the Emmis owned ‘KWPR‘, ‘XOX‘s forthcoming domination comes after the Dominican entertainer saw the aforementioned ‘Bijoux’ downloaded 20,000 times within the first 24 hours of release and elevated his winning streak via Usher’s ‘Climax‘, Rihanna‘s ‘No Love Allowed’, Keyshia Cole‘s ‘Enough Of No Love‘ and Teen Pop‘s ‘Supa Love‘, all of which were penned by the star.
