J. Hud’s song sounds like a 2001 adult contemporary reject. She’s only 31 years old. Why do they give her 50 year old fashions & music? I just don’t understand.
Candice Glover can sing, but what is her target market. Hopefully she’ll find her niche in the upcoming market.
Jhene’s song is HOT! I love her music!
I honestly didn’t bother listening to the rest, sorry.
The best track is the Robin Thicke track. Jennifer Hudson is giving Betty Wright from the 70’s – old school but not in a good way. The rest are just so-so.
Luv luv luv the Goapele, JHud, Jhene & Robin Thicke tracks! Thanks for giving Goapele & Jhene some shine – both are so underrated. I can’t wait to hear Candice Glover’s music – I hope that truly talented writers & producers get together to create a spectacular debut for her…and I hope that those who let skin color drive their music purchases, give her a chance and don’t write her off as a “basic r&b chick”.
Jennifer Hudson‘s claim to the title of ‘Princess of Christmas‘ was given even more credence this week when her debut yuletide album, ‘The Gift of Love,’ was crowned one of the week’s top-charting holiday projects on Billboard.
Candice I hope you well.
