‘Gift From Virgo’ icon Beyonce has great cause to celebrate today.
For, in further solidifying her status as one of Pop’s more commercially potent royals, the star has seen her edition of ‘Vogue’ magazine sell enough units to become the highest selling edition this year, prompting praise from rival magazine ‘Glamour‘.
Good news below…
Owned by Charles Townsend‘s ‘Conde Nast’, Vogue saw it sales skyrocket when the 17 time Grammy winner dominated its pages as part of their ‘Power Edition‘, as seen here.
Outselling every single edition released this year, Beyonce‘s edition saw her speak openly on her fifth studio album and the learning experience that is motherhood, marriage and balancing her career with both.
Quite interestingly, in celebrating the news of Vogue’s win with the star, Cynthia Leive‘s ‘Glamour’ (also Nast owned) showered praise on the ‘Chime For Change’ front woman, explaining:
‘Singers like Beyonce do an incredible job of connecting with their fans’….an accurate estimation, especially considering news of this win comes after renewed interest in her LP ‘4’ have seen her combined global sales even further over the 60 million mark.
This, after her 2008 LP ‘I Am…Sasha Fierce’ saw its single sales surpass the 13.6 million milestone in October 2012 and her 2013 movie ‘Epic’ generated a sweet 85 million dollars in its Box Office opening weekend.
