Cop a gander of Kelly Rowland!
The R&B chanteuse and X Factor judge is keeping busy this week, shooting not one but two new music videos. And while the visual for new single ‘Dirty Laundry’ is one of them, first up was her guest stint in Fantasia‘s Urban hit ‘Without Me’, the clip for which was shot yesterday in Los Angeles.
Little is known about the video’s concept; what is certain, though, is that Kelly looks all sorts of fierce in these newly surfaced snaps from the set.

“Side Effects Of You” is an EXCELLENT album and it deserves so.much.more. “Lose To Win” officially dropped on Jan. 8. “Without Me” STILL does not have an official release date, regardless of the April 17 VEVO song release date.
This is certifiably ridiculous.
I bought the album the day that it was released so it doesn’t matter on that front but the marketing of this album has been atrocious. Undeservedly so.
Anyway, as usual, Kelly looks amazing.
But can we get a LIVE performance of the the most stunning track on the album: “SIde Effects Of You?” Or something?
The album is doing well though off of 1 single. In 1 month she has already outsold Brandy and Monica’s last albums.
As a die hard Brandy and Monica fan, her “outselling” them is hardly the point for me. Brandy’s BRILLIANT “Two Eleven” deserved much more as well. Where is the “Without You” video for example?
My central point remains: RCA is horrible.

The official impact date of “Without Me” was April 29th. It’s now #18 on the Urban airplay charts and so far #26 on Billboard Hip Hop and R&B Airplay charts. The video was filmed yesterday hence this blog post. Hopefully will air soon.
She needs some more television performances to sustain her sales which are doing okay but could be better.

Yes! to your point that Fantasia needs more television performances. This is precisely how she sells her music most effectively. Though I loved “Lose To Win” the very first time that I heard it, it was not until her performance of the song on American Idol that the general public REALLY began paying attention to how fantastic this song really is.

ABSOLUTELY! There is absolutely NO REASON that “Side Effects Of You” and “Two Eleven” should not be exploding on the charts. This has nothing to do with talent nor the quality of these albums. The quality is impeccable on both.
Fantasia is an artist who deserves great success, not average sales nor average chart positions. She is a GREAT artist and my frustration lies with the fact that her sales are simply not commensurate with her talent and RCA does little to remedy this fact.
