you know what, it’s not about him being gay imo (that’s a non-factor). the point is, as a male artist, in any field, one has to perform the role of masculinity or not; and when one rejects that notion or is not privy to it, they fall victim to name calling. Regardless of that, it does not take away that he’s a gifted vocalist. If this was a female singing, there would be no denying the talent. Now, I’m not sure if i’ve simply heard so much of his work that I’m used to it or…. in reality, this doesn’t sound super “run-y” (comparatively) or feminine. His tesatura is just in a very high place, for a guy. Does no one remember Slim from 112?
I just have say that TC’s runs are crazy and the song he wrote on Human, “Acappella (Something is Missing) was and still is the bomb to me and Brandy transcended that song.
