After years of developing good faith with her audience, this year saw Beyonce announce the launch of her first world tour in four years…without the aid of new material.
Indeed, thanks to her credentials as an entertainer and the value for money audiences across the globe knew the tour would serve up, the star has now sold out 65 arena dates long before the world can expect to receive the show’s supporting album.
Now, thanks to the aforementioned good faith she’s garnered with consumers, the tour has now generated enough capital to storm the Hot Tour’s tally!

Helped in part by two sold out dates at Berlin‘s 02 World, the triple threat now sits at #5 on the list of the world’s highest grossing tours this week.
In total, the star generated a sweet $2,015,780 from just two nights at the German venue, helping the show solidify its status as one of the highest grossing tours of the last year…and in time- of the last decade.
This, set to be achieved once its US leg kicks off in Los Angeles on June 28th!

Beyonce is on the verge of ‘grossing’ more because she’s playing venues that house less people, with multiple dates and higher ticket prices whereas Rihanna, thus far, has a higher attendance value because she’s playing, at at large, stadiums with lower ticket prices.
They’re both in high-demand but I guess it can’t be established yet who may come out on top. Hopefully, they both end up in the ‘Top- 5’.
I think ‘Bon Jovi, Black Sabbath or Paul McCartney’ may win this year however.

And just because you can buy tickets on second source websites does not mean it isnt officially sold out. You can buy tickets to anyones tour on websites like that Rihanna and Taylor included. Doesnt mean they are not offically sold out from the website. I bust a gut trying to get tickets to the tour and was unsuccessful in the UK they sold out in 2 minutes. Only to see people selling for triple the price. And some people actually bought them. But its like that with any tour. Oh well Im glad Im seeing her at V Fest although that was a nightmare to get aswell.
