Luring many a Pop addict to the show with the promise of a quality performance, the ‘entertainer’s performance at the show now makes her the youngest artist ever to ‘sell out’ the venue.
Unfortunately, as if often the case with Rihanna, her hype machine did more for her cause than she ever could- serving a performance which was more basic than it was Beyonce.

Rihanna just made history in Paris last night. Her performance at the Stade De France marked her as the youngest ever artist to headline the nation’s national stadium. The crowd was packed to see the pop star, with an estimated attendance of over 80,000 people on hand. Not only is Rihanna the youngest to headline at Stade De France at age 25, she is also reportedly the third-ever black artist to do so, joining Tina Turner and Prince. Below are a couple of pictures that Rihanna herself took at the venue.

Ciara’s performance at LA Pride did not go as planned last night … because she was served with legal papers right in the middle of her show!
As TMZ first reported … Hit Factory, a popular West Hollywood club, sued the singer for bailing on a performance scheduled for Friday night. Ciara’s people maintain they informed the club she could not be there, but they continued to promote her appearance anyway.
Since the club people knew exactly where Ciara was going to be Saturday night, they sent their process server right up to the stage to hand her the papers … which she quickly tossed back.
We reached out to Ciara’s rep to see what became of the papers. So far, no word back.

that said Rihanna is out there doing her thing, she is young and beloved everywhere. It’s not fair to compare Rihanna and Bey. Bey has been out a while. If they had both come out at the same time, then there would be more to compare. they are at two different points in their careers.
I think Rihanna has her own stage presence and the younger demographic responds well to her. I wish she would put a little more polish into her routines, but her ballads are usually done very well. She may not be the chore, glitz kinda artist.
