I love the original and she did the song justice. Great cover
She sings it a lot better live than Chris. His recording is great, but live……
She can clearly sing but she does waaaay too much, it actually irritates rather than entertains.
Jessie has a great voice but she needs to learn sometimes less is more
I can’t believe that after all these years nobody’s told her she oversings. Please, just sing the song in a straight forward fashion and then wait until the end before giving your runs.
She’s a great singer but damn she OVER SINGS WAYYYYYY TO MUCH IT TAKES AWAY FROM THE SONG!!
LOVED IT !!!!
I don’t think she’s oversinging at all (especially compared to the original). The few runs she did at the beginning were mainly in place of her own run instead of Chris’ or when Chris held longer notes …which is understandable for an acoustic. Besides that, most of her runs/riffs etc. were in the last two choruses. Really great cover Jessie
I agree w/ you all, good cover but she does what Beyonce used to do. That is always doing riffs&runs. Also people learn the difference between to & too.
