The original Sugababes, Mutya Keisha Siobhan, are garnering universal acclaim with their comeback effort ‘Flatline’. And for good reason too – it’s epic!
Produced by the eclectic Dev Hynes, you can now see how the song was pieced together in this behind the scenes look shot in Los Angeles.
Check it out after the jump…
UK fans can catch the ladies in their first live gig since reforming on August 1st at the Scala.
Wow, haven’t heard the song, but I’m sure its epic. I love these girls
I love this!!! This shows why these girls are so different from any other girl band the union of them together vocally and creatively is brilliant, its nice to see them coming up with Melody’s and lyrics as well as arranging and recording there own vocals, pure talent! I Love Them
Love the Original Sugababes, never forget hearing Overload on my way to summer school …I was 12 now 24, soo happy they are back, love the songs, and will def be buying the singles and album!!? Yay! good time for music…talented girls that can sing!!!
Hearing them sing it live in the studio sounds like the actual single. No studio tricks just amazing vocals.
FROM BILLBOARD.COM
In non-Jay-Z news, next week’s No. 2 album should be Ciara’s new self-titled album. It will likely bow in the runner-up slot with around 50,000 to 60,000 sold. That’s a significantly larger start than her last album. 2010’s “Basic Instinct” arrived at a lowly No. 44 in the thick of the Christmas shopping season, selling 37,000 in its first week. It fell off the chart after only eight weeks, and has sold 116,000 to date.
WHO ARE THEY..?
I LOVE THEM!!
Siobhan is my favourite though! Her solo albums Revolution in Me and GHOSTS are INCREDIBLE and both CRITICALLY-ACCLAIMED!!
Hey guys, great to hear the feedback on the record! I have the good fortune to have co-produced it so it’s very interesting seeing the response to this.
Keep the comments coming – good or bad I want to read it all!
