After inking a lucrative management deal with Trey Songz’ manager Kevin Liles, Alexandra readies the birth of a free downloadable project named ‘New Rules’, set for launch at the beginning of September.
Exclusive to Paul Dacre‘s ‘Mail Online’ two days before it becomes available anywhere else, the release will boast a cut contributed to by ‘Blackout’ MC Wretch 32, serving as a bridge between her second and third album, whose release date is yet to be announced.
Random: With Alex promising a mature sound on her forthcoming sound, we can’t but help but to think she’d sound great of cuts akin to Jamelia‘s ‘See It In a Boy’s Eyes‘, seeing her land on the Adult Contemporary ground she seems to be eyeing.
Whatever she does, we can’t wait to hear it.

I’m going to separate my comments into 2. The first is that these videos reminded me why i voted with her several times in the first place, so i’m looking forward to the EP
My second is that i’m not feeling the look. In all these video’s she looks better than she does now. In the silence video the colour and length is perfect
The girl has a good voice but cannot sing circles around Beyonce. She doesnt even have as much range as Beyonce let alone technique and versatility. The duet she did with Beyonce just proves that.

I don’t understand why people all ‘hate on’ an artist so much when expectations don’t reach the sales of past projects. I’m all about the new music, and to me, that’s what it boils down to. Sometimes the most unpolished songs are records are what talk to me the most. I know I will be there and downloading the EP and supporting one of my fav artists and spreading the word and doing what I can to be a fan. I say ‘BRING ON THE NEW MUSIC!’
