10 years.
Believe it or not, exactly that has passed since the release of Andre 3000′s last solo album ‘The Love Below‘.
Today, in news that makes its way to the world via BET VP Stephen Hill, ‘Below‘s follow up is set to make its long awaited arrival…in a matter of months.
Details below…
Last night, following a conversation held between the pair at Lil Wayne’s ‘America’s Most Wanted Festival’, Hill took to Twitter to relay what had been said, as seen in the Tweet below…
Me: hey what’s up? You got the movie coming, right? Andre 3000: yeah…and I got a solo album coming top of the year. Me:*droptofloor*

If the new album does score a 2014 release, it will follow the release of ‘All Is By My Side’, the John Ridley directed Jimi Hendrix bio-pic, in which 3000 holds the leading role.
Set for release in September, the movie will debut at this year’s Toronto Film Festival and come one year after the performer lent his skills to Frank Ocean‘s ‘Pink Matter’, pulled from his #1 album, ‘Channel Orange‘.
So, let us know….
