Earlier this Summer, we asked you to list a number of songs released between the year 2,000 and now that you felt deserved… ‘The Greatest Song of the Decade’ title.
Now, as September approaches, the list you put together now boasts almost 200,000 votes, with Michael Jackson‘s ‘You Rock My World’ sat atop the tally with almost 70,000 of those votes.
So, as both acts continue to make their way closer to #1, we ask the following:
Between One Direction‘s ‘That’s What Makes You Beautiful‘ and Justin Bieber‘s love song ‘Baby‘, which number do you feel made the most impact on their careers, and on a wider scale….Pop culture.
Vote for your favourite cut below!
What is this?, Sam, i hope this is a joke, you know, i’m too old 4 this s***.
Impact: only in the lives of fat depressed teenagers.
Pop Culture: none of the two songs is or will ever be part of Pop Culture.
None
Are you f****** serious? :-\
Who is One Direction though? Justin writes and produces his own songs, plus he plays 2 instruments, he is better than this X factor manufactured back street boys tribute act, yawn, not here for them.
Instruments he doesn’t play live; in fact, he doesn’t do anything live other than pretend to be a dancer. One direction is bad, but Justin Bieber is a joke.
But he can still play the piano and guitar, he is young, he has plenty of time to develop the skills needed to play and sing live. Plus he writes and produces his own songs, he is no joke.
This must be a joke
Is this even a question? Justine Biebette is a JT wannabe and there’s never been a group that’s ever been like 1D. So there.
Justin WISHES he could be in One Direction but the boys are too classy for him.
You know JUSTIN Does not write & produce his own music. He may help with the process. He’s always trying to work with the best producers. Timberland, Tricky Stewart (who I think write BABY), Rodney Jerkins (MICHAEL JACKSON’s main producer for “Invincible”), Pharrell && many more. Those are producers. Chris Brown has also wrote songs for Justin. He doesn’t do all that him. He talented with the instruments, but his dancing & singing is ok. His voice is not the best, he has a studio voice.. Nothing impressive live. He’s overrated, never the “Underdog” as they say. Sorry, Justin’s an artist that needs social media, because if TWITTER/YOUTUBE didn’t exsist, he would have as much success. He has yet to receive a Grammy, Bc his Fans can’t vote for that (think about). Maybe he’ll get one with this next album, hmmm??
*typo…. He wouldn’t have as much Success if Twitter & YouTube didn’t exsist.
TYPO… He wouldn’t have as much Success if Twitter & YouTube didn’t exsist.
Now I know you were desperate for a post with this one, dry news day?
Neither of these two or their music has any impact at all. Making stupid teenage girls go crazy doesn’t make you a musician. Just like Twilight is universally mocked for being a shallow story to appeal to the lonely and horny regardless of how much the books sold.
Justin is already bein replaced with a dozen other little kids with the side-swept hair and One Direction literally can’t sing, dance, or write music – you tell me how they’ll maintain relevancy when the teenage girls get bored with them?
Where did you come up with this list? It’s literally awful.
i love both but justin is my husband so i guess im taking his side
… Sierous tho?
What the hell is that list? Literally only three songs on the poll are remembered. I mean The Way is already forgotten.
Bye Gurl…
