A domination, that sings to the tune of 40 million radio impressions!
On course to end the year as one of its highest selling releases, the last week has seen ‘Roar’ reach an audience of 40 million listeners in the US alone, earning it the #29 on the Billboard Radio Songs tally.
Calculated by adding the total number of listeners tuned in to all formats when the song was spun on those formats, the single’s impressive reach will explain her current iTunes reign- seeing it perched at #1 on iTunes USA.
Of course, as Lady GaGa‘s ‘Applause‘ cat walking its way to radio glory in the coming week, Perry does face serious competition- especially with GaGa set to unveil the video for ‘Applause’ on ‘Good Morning America’ this coming Monday!
