Kelly Rowland continues to garner praise aplenty for her latest album ‘Talk A Good Game’. Hence, there is no time better than the present to keep the wheels a’turning on the project’s promotional campaign.
With recent effort ‘Dirty Laundry’ serving as more of a “buzz amplifier” than a Billboard staple, it’s quite literally on to the next one. Which begs the question: which track is Ms. Kelly awarding the single treatment to next?
Well, remember our post asking what YOU think ‘Talk’s next offering should be? Let’s just say, it seems the 32-year-old has heeded the request of most of her Rowland Stones.

Gone (ft. Wiz Khalifa)
Confirmation came courtesy of Ryan Seacrest, who quizzed the R&B star on her judging role on The X Factor USA.
Speaking to the American Idol host on his radio show, Rowland teased the idea of fellow judge Demi Lovato directing her upcoming music video, after being impressed by the 20-year-old’s directorial efforts for her own song ‘Made In The USA’. Seacrest’s site refers to the single in question as ‘Gone’.
Produced by Harmony Samuels and featuring rapper Wiz Khalifa, the track has been hailed as the most radio-ready cut on the album, and ultimately the most mainstream. A fact which, when paired with the her stint on the uber mainstream X Factor, has made it the obvious pick from the get go. In keeping it super 100, we’re not sure what took so long to arrive at such a clear conclusion.
Anyway, in looking forward, we anticipate this one being a multi-format hit in waiting.

NOBODY CARES! That song is booty. Ugh, Kelly had so much buildup and potential for this album. The album is a solid 5 1/2-6 in my opinion.

Kelly is showed me in this live that she can give a REAL live vocal and make a b**** proud. The song is mainstream radio freindly and if she gets Demi (who is an industry and mainstream sweetheart and a really creative young talent) to direct it will create a buzz with her audience & Demi’s audience (where the real loyal supporters live).
Kelly is a sweetheart and her Simon and Demi seem to have bonded during this X Factor tour. With those two behind her they could really push to get her the radio play and attention in markets suited to her character and pop/R&B music.
I’m actually excited for her.

Neither song would get air played on main stream radio. Gone is a potential hit….had Ariana recorded it it would be the hottest song of the year. She needs to reintroduce herself to a buying (loyal) audience and “Gone” is a track I can see young and hipster white (buying) audiences getting into.

I like Kelly Rowland but this song is not the great choice for her. She should of done Down On Love or Sky Waker but for the rest of the songs i couldn’t care less. I like what she did with Kisses Down Low. The Gone song is alright but for the video it be great as what she done Kisses Down Low.
