Already one of the year’s most anticipated R&B releases, Tamar Braxton‘s ‘Love & War’ LP is shaping up to be quite the homerun.
For after rocking Urban radio with singles ‘The One’ and the LP’s title track, the youngest of the Braxton clan has debuted the project’s stellar third offering ‘All The Way Home’.
Unwrapped moments ago, Ms. She, Me, Her’s new gem awaits after the jump…
She.Did.That!
Clearly in her element on songs of the slow-burning persuasion, Braxton quite literally soars ‘All The Way Home’. The minimalist production provides a powerful stage for the showcasing of her vocal range, which in turn drives home the song’s lovelorn lyrics.
Juxtaposed against her “theatrics”, we’re loving the mature, yet current sound Tamar’s been toying with this go round. For such a colorful “personality”, her material not only balances out her initial point of appeal, it helps broadens her reach to audiences not au fait with her Reality TV platform. What’s more, with the Fall approaching, the choice of a banging ballad was -from our standpoint-a wise one.
