It just sounds dated to me. Copying can not take you that far. If these people want to do ballads big again they should ask Adele. Great album, true unique voice, great songwriting skills, did “21” sound dated? NO. Copying ballads from the 90´s with uninspired vocals is not hot. She reminds me of Tiffany Evans and the likes.

The song has a throwback feel and kinda reminds me of Brandy for some reason, and although Nathan can clearly sing on this song i thing the original demo was sung by two other artists because she sounds different and he sounds completely different to anything he has ever done/sang with the wanted.
