“Wrecking Ball” beauty Miley Cyrus has had quite the headline-grabbing week.
From suffering a highly publicized breakup to boyfriend/actor Liam Hemsworth to being slammed by pop stars for her tongue-wagging twerk-tastic VMA performance (nearly a month after it happened), it”s pretty safe to say Miley the topic of the week.

Billy Ray makes headlines just a day after pop icon Cher took to Twitter to offer an “apology of sorts” to Miley after slamming her VMA performance. Originally, the “Believe” belle told USA TODAY:

But, after suffering a barrage of attacks from the young singer”s devoted fans, Cher backtracked:

Upon learning the news, Cyrus fans launched an e-attack against the songstress:
“Kill yourself you crusty old hag,” one user told Lorde. Another added, “Your eyes are too far apart.”
The attack prompted Miley to reach out to the 16-year old songstress:

Let me just say that honestly I don’t think her album will do well. Look at all the hype Ariana gained with The Way and Baby I but she didn’t even sell 150k in her first week. Granted she debuted at #1 but with this t*** craze, those numbers were very underwhelming.
I disagree. Ariana didn’t get that much hype. A lot of people still don’t even know who she is. The way isn’t half as successful as We can’t stop or as Wrecking Ball will be. Baby I flopped hard too. Miley could easily do 160k – 250k first week.

Ariana didn’t star on her own show until after The Way was released. She was a supporting actress on Victorious. And all of them except Taylor were the leading actresses on their shows on Disney which gets more viewers than Nick. Maybe its because she has actual talent.
