Billy Ray makes headlines just a day after pop icon Cher took to Twitter to offer an “apology of sorts” to Miley after slamming her VMA performance. Originally, the “Believe” belle told USA TODAY:
“She could have come out naked, and if she”d just rocked the house, I would have said, “You go, girl.” It just wasn”t done well. She can”t dance, her body looked like hell, the song wasn”t great, one cheek was hanging out. And, chick, don”t stick out your tongue if it”s coated.”
But, after suffering a barrage of attacks from the young singer”s devoted fans, Cher backtracked:
We hope you don”t think that”s all. This week saw New Zealand newcomer Lorde dethrone Cyrus” “Wrecking Ball” from the top spot on Itunes this week with her hit “Royals”.
Upon learning the news, Cyrus fans launched an e-attack against the songstress:
“Kill yourself you crusty old hag,” one user told Lorde. Another added, “Your eyes are too far apart.”
