Look we can like or dislike Nicki, is she Doin it?… YES, is she talented YES!… Is she the GOD MC.. HELL NO!. I found it real funny that when nicki gets praise y’all Run & write paragraphs, but when another Female rapper Gets LOVE on the VMAs, you shade her on twitter, and refuse to acknowledge it, ( yeah I saw that tweet).
I see why Nicki is doing other things than rap, it doesn’t last long for any male or female. Better do your homework, look at Queen and Missy, one went into acting and the other is producing music. Hell look at the males, the only one that has a ever lasting carrer is Jay Z, others like LL Cool J went into acting. It’s a youth genre.
This is why you gotta respect the Jays, Bey, Janet, MJ, MC, Usher, Madonna and even JT. Having a 15 to 20 or 25 to 40 year career is amazing, when others like Ciara, Nelly and Lil Kim are not so bright.

And she has done the most out of every female rapper so you can’t hate on her! The way Nicki is branding herself is outstanding! You can’t even label or put her in a box because she does so much! Congrats on 25 years S&P! All they said about nicki is that she has a personality and is a smart business woman. That is true. I just find it telling they had nothing to say about her music!
They also said she’s TALENTED but I guess you didn’t hear that part because you didn’t want to hear it. lol
Such a misleading headline. You make it sound like they did it spontaneously, they answered a question specifically about Nicki. And what they did is nowhere near ‘showering praise’ on Nicki. Acknowledging some of her qualities at best. Stop being so transparent, thanks. Now in response to other comments – why you would lose respect for them simply because they acknowledged Nicki’s talent, that’s beyond me.
The question was.. Do they think Nicki would’ve made it back in the day in they’re era.. Now S&P could’ve just gave a yes or no answer but they didn’t. He didn’t ask them if Nicki was a smart business woman with personality and talent. They volunteered that PRAISE on their own. Salt and Pepa was PRAISING Nicki. IT IS WHAT IT IS.
All they did was answer a simple question, that’s all. But good for Nic, she is winning no doubt it’s just that her music is trash. She needs to go back to her mixtape days.
