Telling the story of a wealthy NYC nightclub owner who uses his influence to run a lucrative drug network in the city's underworld, 'Power' will see 3Lw's Naturi Naughton play Tasha St.Patrick, the wife of the aforementioned drug lord.
Joining her husband in servicing high end 'clientele', Naughton's character will hit US TV screens in 2014 as part of an eight episode first series, joining 'Boardwalk Empire's Joseph Sikora and 'Snitch' actress Lela Loren as the show's leading cast, with 'For Colored Girls' actor Omari Hardwork taking on the role of James St.Patrick, Tasha's husband.
Its arrival will come one year after Starz bid adieu to Steven S. DeKnight's 'Spartacus' series, and four years after Naturi portrayed Hip Hop veteran Lil Kim in the Biggie Smalls' biopic, 'Notorious'.
