A surprising story below…
Responsible for turning the once ‘underground’ act into a global megastar, Carter has now bid adieu to his position as the star’s manager- seven years after taking on the coveted role.
Wenner Media’s Us Weekly reports:
“It’s sad but also liberating at the same time,” a source close to both tells Us of the split. “One door closes and another opens.” Carter helped launch the pop star’s career after signing her in 2007. In 2011, he received an Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Variety, Music or Comedy Special for his work on the HBO special Lady Gaga Presents the Monster Ball Tour: At Madison Square Garden.”
News of his alleged departure comes exactly two years after GaGa cut ties with long time creative director Laurieann Gibson and four years after Carter had come close to inking a deal with ‘Revolt’ frontman Diddy, which would have seen him join the mogul in managing Rap Queen Nicki Minaj.
