Jennifer Lopez hasn’t had a relevant role in a movie since Selena. Each and every one of her movies since Selena have flopped. Clearly she can act, but she’s been playing the same roles since the early 00’s ie Gigli, Jersey Girl, Maid in Manhattan. No one takes her seriously as an actress.
J-Lo looks great there
J Lo is not taken seriously as an actress. She was good in Selena though but critically, she is not held very high above many of peers stop reaching. And Beyonce is not the only singer to not be great actress. Shes done better than many singer who have tried still. Why are people always shading her? Even MJ was a flop actor.
I wouldn’t say JLo is all that. I think she is pretty (thanks to tasteful plastic surgery) and has an amazing body, but it ends there. Never enjoyed one movie she did, and that includes Selena. J. Lo is actually a lucky lucky lucky lucky woman. Thank God for Tommy Mottola, P. Diddy (or whatever name he wants to be called now), and a few others. I will say though, her timing is always on point. She took over right when Selena died pretty much, and until Shakira came along to be the overseas beauty with the incredible body, she SLAYED! I hate thinking about her and other 40+ years olds in the industry now. Hell tbh 30+ year olds are struggling just as hard. Well good thing for TBT to remember the good times.

Every artist in the world is not that good of an actor. However, J. Lo is the only one to have a #1 album and a #1 movie at the same time though. I have never seen a singer actually do a good job at acting. They pretty much all suffer box office wise excluding WH doing The Bodyguard and Waiting to Exhale. And those movies only succeeded thanks to those amazing soundtracks (NP: Mary J. Blige Not Gon’ Cry). I don’t understand not one person on this site. You brag about “dragging,” & etc., but yet you don’t realize that it actually is sickening and you need MENTAL HELP immediately. There’s a fine line between an opinion and taking out your pure hatred and misery on an artist that you will NEVER EVER meet. Well at least Sam is getting a check, so “drag on.”
